I have come to the conclusion that I suck at wrapping coils. Watched Zens coil basics tutorial and that man is a master. I had been trying to wrap it differently so hopefully I'll have better luck when I get off work. I've only had it up and running for like 5 min before I had a coil pop last night and that was at like 2am.

Is it compleatly leak proof.... I dont see any threads for the cap or tank....is it a push in place type of the device?

It shouldn't leak unless you try and attack someone with it :)

lol, I find that out also. I tell you what my solution was. I had a mini blow torch. I oxidized the wick like crazy and was still popping coils. I read on OB's thread for coil tricks and someone that had the same problem recommended a better torch. I went yesterday and bought an upgraded torch for like $25. It completely worked!! I wrapped a coil with ease, perfect glow and all. Even though your torch might look like its oxidizing it, it will not matter how long you do it if the torch isnt burning at very high temps :) This is my conclusion :)

Per ECF, it is not allowed to post distributor in this thread. I'm not sure if I can PM you the link, so I will not take that chance until I get it clarified through ECF. Hope everyone understands :) I will have 15-20 available to ship tuesday, I will start a list later tonight, hope that helps ya :)

Wow - you are pretty snappish this morning! I was actually making a suggestion to The Hill Giant. On the batteries, I was trying to help out - yes, people do use things in a non-prescribed manner. My 20+ years of tech support and being a systems/network engineer has drilled into me not to take anything for granted when trying to help someone out with problems. I was just trying to get all the info. I was also curious as to why mine had a very similar small gap WITHOUT kicking it in 18350 mode. Non-kicked 18650 is fine and flush. crypto - good morning!

I wasn't intending to snap or be snappish, and I wasn't talking to you in particular, even though I quoted your post.....I only quoted it because you mentioned the batt and since I post a pic of my batt and gap, I was simply trying to say that the gap occurs regardless of the batt. However it may be a smaller gap if using a flat top batt cause that would make sense due to not having an erect nip to poke out.

I was in a hurry to get out the house and to work and didn't have time to read before posting, so perhaps being so blunt made it seem I was in attack mode when I wasn't :)

Thanks faceless. I'm using a good cooking creme brûlée torch. Anyone else using this with success? Just don't wanna spend the extra cash if I don't have to. I'm getting married at the end of next month and money is really tight. Only reason I could afford the iHybrid is that I sold off some old vaping gear to cover the re cost.

congrats on marriage. you have a butane torch? that will work. i've had those in the past (cant find mine now) but i have a propane torch and it's a beast, cheaper, and stronger than butane imo

You want the black one that sits an inch tall and has a .03" wire, cut it in half :) It works perfect!!

Lighthound also carries glow in the dark o-rings.

Good morning (afternoon) all!

I have a feeling I'm gonna buy all kinds of o rings lol

Thank you. I'll start with the inside screw before I mess around with the post. It's still vaping very well. Just didn't wanna mess with it without your guidance :)

lol, it should work, I tightened all the other ones but not the prototypes, my mind was going 1000 mph lol

That is sick!! Plus it will look sick in the dark lol, where do I buy those o rings?

I've got some of those and try as I might I couldn't get them to glow in the dark, went from inside in bright sunlight to a dark closet and nuffin, so with no glow in the dark they just look a dingy white. In the drawer they went, got mine on ebay when the were posted in the HoH thread a loooooooonnnnnnnnng time ago. Now I have red/green/blue/white/glow in the dark/black.....but really only use black and green at the moment. :")
