OH
I want an iHybrid e-hooka for my coffee table....

No kidding. Wall outlet powered. Seriously.

Now since the atty on the iHy is removable, that's not such a difficult project actually... We just need to find an AC/DC converter and a power regulator of some sort. OMG! Totally awesome. And house it in an actual vintage hookah!!! DROOOOOLING!

Wonder if we can jimmy rig the Sabertouch passthrough kit to fit on the iHy.

Interesting. I remember, in your youth, you were tinkering with using Mio as vaping flavorant... I shall investigate some more... :p

Yeah, that was along time ago. I found that you had to use alot of it to get any flavor. And that either the coloring or whatever else they put in there would gunk up a coil fast.

I was referring to what I put on the customs form when I ship pluid.

I feel like an old geezer but back in the day I've gotten ecig gear labelled weird things when shipped to me.

I haven't had any "interesting" labels on the various gear and such I've received, but checking CC statements, apparently I've purchased quite a bit of
clothing
misc
household goods

LOL

Well, I need to start over I guess.
Thought I had it the first go round, except for popping a couple of coils.

I'm still getting dark juice almost right away, and actually some flooding.

New wick and wire are in store.

Has anyone replaced the screw on top of the positive post?
Right now I have the stock screw and the airflow is fine with me.
What difference does the smaller screw make?

That's for tighter air flow, I tried it but didn't like it.

Completely opposite for me keegan, I started with the small Phillips head screw and it was to airy, changed to the hex head and it was more like the draw on my Zen's.

too long a wick might short out to the top cap or the bottom of the tank.

Any negatives from a shorter wick?

Just wondering instead of a new wick, why not just trim off the top section and re-coil to vape.

Does the flavor scorching extend further down than where the coils are?

Also, wondering if a shorter wick will wick faster. In CE2's I remember having to trim the wicks a few times depending on juice.

Edit: Anybody know where to source cermanic wicking material?

On top, it needs to be at the same level as the positive connection. You cannot have a long positive lead hanging in the air - it will become a hotspot.

You want as much of the wick as you can submerged in the liquid. I never tried a "high" wick, but it will work, just not sure if better. A good wick carries the liquid very fast, it doesn't need to (it cannot) get soaked. So it also doesn't "store" juice, it needs to be in contact with as much juice as possible at all times while you fire the coil - that's why it doesn't work to vape vertically...
