I wear a size 8.5 ring and have acrylic fingernails 3/8 inch past my fingertips, if I can manage so can you. =) Rotate the tank, not the wire.

Fun facts about coils for you kick users(and this is why I have a stock of 36 AWG):

Constant amp draws on batteries which equate to battery life change with resistance ohms.

So basically if you run 10 watts through a 3ohm coil you are using 5.5 Volts. (5.5*5.5/3 which is Volts squared / Ohms) your constant amp draw on a freshly charged battery at this level is 5.5/3 = 1.8 Constant amp draw.

If you are running the same 10 watts through a 1.5 ohm coil you are using 3.9 Volts. Your constant amp draw on a freshly charged 4.2 volt battery is 3.9/1.5 = 2.6 constant amp draw.

Since constant amp draw correlates to battery life, you will get a much longer battery life on a higher ohm coil when kicked. I have a few higher ohm coils on kicked devices because I like having the option of super long battery life.

If kicked and under the same wattage, yes. Even though 10 watts pushes more volts on a higher ohm coil it drains less battery.

Edit: Also same wraps with higher resistance wire will accomplish the same thing. For instance 3/4 wrap of 36 AWG can be 3 ohms depending on wick.

No it's two Jack Russell Terriers that are european standard, a little shorter but stockier then north american JRT's. It's hard to see because it's a small picture but there is a little black puppy JRT in the picture and she's actually biting the white ones arm. That's why he has teeth out. My wife snapped a picture right as the puppy bit him.

It will take years to be a problem, also the anodizing if you buy colors protects that from ever happening. I could anodize the units clear but it wouldn't be as shiny, it would be a dull look. I chose to leave them as they were since its warrantied.

I put the washer there to keep the air flow moving in a circular patern across the wick before it exits to the tip. It's a fairly important design element of the Zenesis that the iHybrid doesn't have, so I made it happen. Wrap the wick before you put the washer and screw on. It's kind of a pain to get it so the wick doesn't touch the washer but I managed it.

I don't agree at all lol. Just my opinion but I doubt the vapor goes in a circular motion at all, just like cartos and anything else, it just goes where the force is. I don't see why vapor going in a circle is important, can you elaborate?

Also, if you cross threaded it, just send me the top portion back with the tank attached and I'll replace it for you

A good way to not cross thread is to turn it counter clock-wise until it clicks and then screw it on...

One thing I ignored from Zen was the flame polishing of the tanks, man I should have listened lol. Thats the problem with the condensation in the tank sleeve, the flame polish makes it smooth were vapor wont stay and turn to condensation. I switched to a flame polished tank and it got rid of the problem, I'm on day 3-4 and it fixed it. I have 2 ways of solving this. I can give everyone $10 via paypal (the units I shipped this week are flame polished) or you can send me a prepaid shipping envelope and I will ship a tank to you. If you bought a colored tube it will include a tank for free for this purpose. If you have a zen standard tank, its flame polished and will eliminate the problem. All mine are flame polished from last week to now

The reason I was asking is that a 4 wrap wasn't producing enough vapor and was having to take way too long a draw to get a satisfying hit where as a 3 wrap was burning just a bit too hot and was having wicking/dratty issues. I did however twist the 32g Kanthal and 4 wraps is damn near perfect. Don't attempt 3 wraps trust me. I'm really liking all this new tinkering. My fiancé on the other hand not so much. Speaking of which. Gotta go spend some quality time with the family. See you all tomorrow.

i should have known! i had two of those before we had our kids. dominant male growled and nipped at my son and was gone that day.

great dogs though!! just as obnoxious as the fox terrier the only diference now is i encourage the dog to bite the kids, there older they can take it. LOL

i thought the tank may have been the culprit so i swapped it with a zen tank but it didn't fit as well. it made the draw with the standard allen screw on the draw too stiff. so back the the original. it seems as if the zen tank might be a smidge longer.

I am noticing, the more I hold the iHybrid in my hand (which is a lot), the more shiny the aluminum gets. It's like the oil/sweat from my hand is just making it prettier and prettier. Maybe it's just my growing fondness for this device. Anyone else?

Get some big snakes, that will take care of your bobcat problem. Leaves you with a snake problem though and they are even harder to get rid of. Could bring in alligators after to get rid of the snakes, then shoot the alligators since they're pretty slow.

Either way, doesn't look good for the chickens.

Shame that happened with the JRT's and your kids. They are great dogs. I understand of course, kids first.

If you ever consider another one look at the European Standard/Scottish Standard, they are MUCH MUCH calmer. It's almost not even a comparison with the north american ones that like to bounce off the walls. They are often also called Shorty Jacks. They are basically a scottish family/farm dog. Very calm and very intelligent.

What they do still have is the killer instinct for anything that moves. Mice, squirrels, foxes, raccoons, possums...they eradicate them all. As you can see from my avatar for a 16 pound dog they have a set of alligator teeth.

They don't often show the teeth and they've never nipped anyone. That picture was basically just 1 in a million. They were sleeping and my wife went to take a picture, the puppy at the time woke up and bit the adult dogs arm right as she took a picture.

Somebody needs to make an adjustable draw DT, from wide open to completely closed, just by turning the DT. Would need a valve in the bottom right after the 510 connection. May be expensive in comparison but would make every device extremely versatile. Big bucks to the person who makes that animal.....take my idea and use it....just tell me when and where i can get one when they are ready.
