Thanks, have never seen one where they oxidized the mesh before rolling it.

i use a propane torch, gets it done in idk, 10 seconds jack frost before rolled. i would recommend one over butane. propane tanks are 1)cheaper, 2)bigger flame, and 3) last tonnns longer. i used to use a butane to heat titanium and the propane makes the butane torch look like a pen torch. don't bother with a lighter. i also quenched with juice 3 or so times before i wrapped. watch zen's basic coil wrap video. it's short and to the point

I am putting my iHybrid on the classies. Nothing wrong with the device itself. Just that I broke my pinkie a while back in an accident and I have decided that the bottom switch is not for me as they make my hand ache. I have tried multiple devices with bottom switches and come to the conclusion that I will have to live with a side switch.

I have a noob question....what causes the wick to gunk up so quick? like 3-4 days...I chain vape and type with one hand

I think it happens naturally, every time my tank is half full or less, I tilt the juice so it doesn't touch the wick.
Pretty much dry burn the carbon off.
I don't know if it's really carbon, but thats what I call it.

I personally only use my middle finger to activate the button.
I sometimes press it against the palm of my hand.

PM the APV manufacturer.

Some juices are worse than others, but there are 2 main causes I've experienced..

1 - Coil is too lose on the wick (they shouldn't be "tight" but touching), and the liquid boils instead of vaporizing
2 - It is over-wicking causing the same problem as above.

If the coil looks good, firing at your typical vaping angle with the top cap off will give you a really good idea as to what is going on. If its overwicking, pinch off the very top of the wick, or reduce your angle of attack..

I tried that and it felt awkward to me. In the end I decided to get sell it to someone who would appreciate it more than I do. From now on I will be sticking with side button devices.

it was boiling, now I wrapped it up again on a 3/2 wrap and it produces too much vapor lol, thanks for the reply, the boiling helped me figure the cause :)

Glad it helped. Watching what happens with the cap off can help solve pretty much any issue you can have with a genesis atty..
