I can't wait to see what you do with the tank cap, and I want to see the engraving as well. You do such beautiful work on these.

Thanks!! I appreciate the support, I really do, it puts a smile on my face (which is faceless)

here is a pic if you wonder what I look like

Hey all!
Wasn't able to get on all day, and missed most of the fun.
Did just snag a new iHy.
I'm reaaaaally tired of the hubby snagging mine!
Now he can have his own.

Thanks Faceless! It's a nice idea on an otherwise depressing day.

Thanks, it didnt even dawn on me until I was on here :) I just realized, nothing ever dawns on me

The happy ending is that on the 23rd of Sept. I will have 10yrs sober and will be married a week later to an amazing woman with 2 beautiful girls. It was a rough road but I wouldn't change it if I could. It has made me a stronger person.

Thats awesome!! anytime your life could be a movie, means you have been through trials and tribulations :) which adds a lot of character to personality IMO

@ezkill: my theory was in my post - energy conservation, etc. resulting in the same current draw for a given power regardless of Ohms.

Anyhow, I won't comment on that any further until I have a chance to read up some more :)

Can't believe this thread is getting hard to keep up with just like another... :)

just crazy on tuesday nights, I give away random stuff :)

Hahaha last peep sleep.

We must make Faceless's thread as large as the other!

Size doesnt matter, atleast thats what my wife tells me :( I like how this thread already has tons of info and also chit chat, it seems to be a perfect balance :)

Yea, I read it and understood it. I was just saying I didn't want to re-quote the entire thing in order to save board space.

I don't disagree with it. It just hasn't been my experience.

what?! Tell me lol.... I want to own one just so I can build a atty for it and have a brass looking sleeve to match the rings :) If its that bad just dont post lol

That mod irritated me lol.

It's like some combination of a GGTS and GGTB but done really badly. I know someone that has one....trying to fire it is like poking your own eyes with a hot needle. For a mechanical mod it seems rather fail.

What's with the 9/11 reminiscing? Everyone does it... I don't have a particular story, but I remember that initially there was complete disbelief. It took me a LONG time to accept it was actually happening. I was back in Europe at that time, but still...

Then, there was a LOT of sadness. Do you remember the pics with people jumping to their death? Well, that was sad, but saddest part, for me, was that I thought (and I think I was right) that it marked the end of the briefest golden age of all ages - the period between the Cold War and the War on Terror. Which didn't have a name at that time, and I thought it was going to be a struggle between religious fundamentalism and secular-humanism. I had no clue, back then, about the religious fundamentalism of America and how it would rise to the occasion. Had I known just how it was going to turn out, I would have been much more sad still...

I spent 5 years as an air force dependent, and my best friend is still in Iraq..

On 9/11 I was playing Everquest (that's a computer game), we never used our TV.. we had to hook it up to watch what was going on. I'm one of those people who past certain threshold of pain just suppresses it all.. it's not healthy, really, but I do it like instinctively. I was just numb.. for nearly a month. I do remember quite clearly afterwards though.. I worked in the mall, I managed on of those things remembered engraving kiosks.. I got to watch all the people walk by every day. My home town is a huge collage town, and tons of immigrants who come to go to school and a lot stay because it's a great town. The following month the mall was like a ghost town.. not surprising. What was surprising was the Muslims who braved it. I tried to be extra nice to them 'cause almost everyone else were being.. well, really really not nice.

I asked for peoples stories, I like reading what people were doing, it is sad of the after aftermath

Yeah, a lot of people weren't nice, I don't pass judgement but it made me never want to fly, I was scared of flying anyway, due to being a control freak lol, I hate not being able to see where I'm going. So I have my own 4 seater plane lol
