I can't wait to see what all the fuss is about over the glass. Never had one before, as I could not justify spending $30 for a little piece of glass. Eagerly waiting for quiting time so I can go home and check it out.
Lol It took me a while beforfe I could justify it but once I did I was screwed
The only tips I have that are not glass now are ones that come with other stuff, like if you buy a tankand it comes with a plastic tip yadda yadda. Never thought it would make such a difference but it really does!
Yes the replacement tube has been purchased and I've sent faceless an email asking him to ship it out ASAP so that we can conclude this mess as soon as possible. If I can sell more stuff, I will even pay faceless to ship it next day. I won't bore you with the details, but I've put up a lot of incredibly rare and important stuff to myself up for sale so that I can get this resolved. I really do not want you to be unhappy with this transaction and am doing everything in my power to resolve it in the fastest means at my disposal.
So that everyone is aware, here's what's happening. I got wingedwheels ihy tank sleeve and 18650 kick tube to anodize. While anodizing it I got the color backwards in the fade of the sleeve backwards so I stripped the anodizing off and proceeded to get it back to a nice polish and while polishing it, the tube caught on the wheel and ripped out of my hands. This flung the tube down onto the floor and dinged it a little bit. I proceeded to anodize the tube anyway and let winged know of the ding when it was in route and told him that if he was not happy with the tube that I would replace it. He indicated that he would check it out and let me know.. at which point he found out that it wouldn't thread completely so, I proceeded to work with faceless to procure a replacement tank sleeve to have shipped to me so that I could anodize and then return it to winged. It was also discovered that the kick tube I anodized had some anodizing on the threads preventing conductivity so I offered to get a replacement for that as well and then clean the threads on the tube. I've worked hard to get the money to replace teh items that were messed up and resolve the issue as quickly as humanly possible. I've also offered to refund the price paid to winged so that he's not out his money for a product that didn't work. Now he's indicated that he no longer wants the anodizing just wants faceless to send him the parts sooner so that he can get back up and running. I have no objections and want this to be in the open so that it can never be questioned that I wasn't doing my every best to complete this transaction successfully and amiably.

I gotta say after seeing the quality of the engravings and attention to detail on the 9/11 IHy I am very excited to see what faceless does with the Pluid edition IHy(hahaha like I wasn't already excited)
Also even tho this will make it harder to obtain one, MR has some awesome DTs being made that would probably be awesome on the IHy Pluid edition

I'm good, headaches and stressed but good lol.... I wonder how many people use that prototype. I know someone sold theirs as I got a PM asking why it didnt have the logo on the bottom switch
