Are you wanting to use the insulator going forward or no?

I would go with a mm set...basically as faceless said the wick hole is 3.08mm so if you find a 3mm drill bit that's pretty good...I have a 1/8th inch which is 3.1mm that fits but that could be a manufacturing tolerance and not all 1/8th may fit since technically they would be a .02 of a mm larger.

Not really sure what the internal diameter of the insulator is.

Edit: Give me a moment to go to the garage and find a drill bit that fits through the insulator.

Ok I have one that fits but I have no idea what the size is, it has no writing on it at all and my digital caliper is out of commission.

Well, heck. I should have signed onto the forum earlier. Sorry. I had asked my son-in-law if he could pick me up a 2 mm drill bit while he was going to hardware store. He couldn't find that size and (don't ask me why) he brought me 5/64". ??????? I give up. LOL

I didn't bother opening them...I can exchange it. Petar K sure makes it look simple in his tutorial...I can complicate just about anything!

If you want 2mm then keep the 5/64.

5/64" converted to mm is = 1.984375mm....so pretty close

So don't be too hard on your son he got the closest match he could in standard sizing

Well, now that you mention "tributes", ahem...(and maybe Mrs. Faceless could weigh in on THIS idea)...what about a tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness? I mean, it would take care of the "pink" that some want, combined with an awesome awareness logo. Even men purchase and use things that are for this charity! I'm just sayin'.....

Of course, there probably are Copywrite issues I'm guessing...now that I think about it. Just a thought....

And, I have to admit that the military tribute is awesome too. My son-in-law has been Army for 14 years. He has 4 deployments to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. He is now suffering from some sort of nerve damage resulting from breathing some kind of toxins in "burn pits". He's still Army...but I think they are wanting to retire him because of it. He wouldn't know what to do with himself...he's been in since 18 and that's all he's every done. Damn, I'm going to depress you guys...sorry!

But I'm so grateful to our military forces. I'm sappy today...what's wrong with me? LOL

Just find a nail around the house lol, thats what I did You could probably even use the ink tube out of a bic pen I found a nail that fit perfect and used it and found another nail to wrap wick around Its raining and I took the day off, I dont feel like walking out to the shop getting drill bits on my time off lol

Got my 9/11 version today and had my first wick and coil setup within 1/2 hour using the Peter K method. I need practice but its working! Love the egravings, it's beautiful.

OK, well, I am a little confused about one thing gang. If I use the Petar K method for the coil...it's not possible to also use the cigarette rolling paper, right? I was thinking that...with the rolling paper, the coil needs to be against the wick so that the carbon left there after the paper burns stays put. Am I missing something?

It seems to me that I could do one or the other...but not both?

ok just a heads up for anyone wanting to try that Peter K method who may not have a drill bit. I just pulled the ink tub from a standard styled bic pen, the type with that attached plastic piece that makes it stay in the pen barrel, and it fits perfect in the wick hole, tho would be too lose to use as an insulator

Edit: The positive/negative positioning probably help Petar's method look super easy on the Vaper.
