You may want to use a wick insulator while your adjusting to the rebuildables realm. After you get really good at oxidizing the wick then you can drop it. Otherwise you will be popping coils left and right and won't be happy with the vapor production that you hear about. My :2c:

No need for a insulator or to oxidize the wick at all or juice burn. And it can be built without either by a noob.

That's pretty cool. I had an Iguana that got a bit over 2.5 feet before she passed away, lizards are pretty cool pets, some of their mannerisms crack me up also.

Dude when I was stationed in Panama Central America, those suckers were running around wild, and the locals ate them BBQ style off the Hibachi.

I'm gonna have to give not oxidizing a shot. My stupid torch I got from Harbor Freight took acrap one me. I thought it was just that the nozzle froze but it still won't release any gas... Even right after filling...

Try it...just do a quick lighter burn to clean the mesh...you are going to be vaping it after all. Watch a video or two so you get the basic concept down. Don't give up if you pop a single coil. o_O.

Can't remember the last time I oxidized or cared that my wicks were touching all the metal parts of the tank. The torch is for making deserts...not wicks :D

Thanks Vapor.....but here is another question...did the tester get to pick who they wanted to pass it along to??? Or was this decided by the powers that be?

Thanks sweetie!

Indeed.
PS, as a reminder to anyone with empty space after their names...
We each pick who's next in line and the last person sends back to fac-less..
So... We're waiting on Ripple, vabeach454, Schneck, and K-man to each pick their next in line at the moment.

I see alot of empty space on that list. hint hint.

Yeah next coil I do I'll give a shot at the non-oxidized wick. You do peter K or can just wrap em up like normal when I do it?

I build the coil PeterK style but then use the same tool to roll the wick and then take it off and roll a tad smaller and when I put it in the coil I almost have to screw it in to get it in there and fire up and start chasing the hot spots...takes me about 3 min

Dang so you have like a straw style wick? I haven't tried that yet either lol. I have always just used as much mesh as I could squeeze into the hole.
