The color is amazing! Some thing is different about the eye hole, not sure what, tilt or end points? Great work!

Hello Hybreeds. Thought id pop in and say hello. As I have recently become a Hybreed my self, with a iHy standard a couple of weeks ago, and managed to get a Illuminati last night. Very stoked. Wooo Hooo!!!! It just seemed like a good time to introduce myself.

Welcome flylane1102 and all other new members :)

Thanks! So just to clarify the supplies I'll be needing to set up my iHy include wick supplies, a syringe, battery, and possibly a kick?

Welcome :) Did you see the list at the top of "Supply" section in the Spreadsheet? Line 151. It's the same one posted by Grruss ...very helpful.

About the kick, I know it's been mentioned but I just want to verify one last time... So you use a 18490 nipple top with the 18650 tube, and the new switch seals the gap? The reason I ask is because the FAQ doc has conflicting info (says use flat top for no gap). I assume it's because it hasn't been updated to reflect the new switch?

Also, what is the orientation of assembly? Kick post side up, then battery nipple up I assume?

Please review the information (including warnings) about Kicks (specifically about "flipping the Kick").

Hi everyone :) I can't stay, but I DID get caught up to here at least! Be back later!

I'm so frustrated, I've given up for today. I can't take the smell, I can't keep wasting all of my free time. I CAN'T MAKE A WICK AND COIL THAT WORKS. I get a hotspot, so I move it around. I get them to all glow evenly. Dry burn after a tank to see if I'm still good...hot spots! I'm so sick of this. What in the heck am I doing wrong?!?? I've tried quenching it with water, 3 times while red, followed by 3 vg burns. I've tried: torching the mesh, rolling, torching(no quenching), vg burn. I've tried those WITHOUT the vg burn. I'm not having fun at all. Im using 32 kanthal 3/4 coils OR twisted 4/5 coils. Ive looked through the reference links. I can't stand this smell of burning anymore! Sorry for being a noobie :(!

Make sure your wick is pulled up very close to the possitive post, almost touching. Also make sure the top coil is not loose. I assume your talking about hot spots on your top coil. Also make sure your wick is not touching the bottom of the Atty. Using a half way used up batt also works well for breaking in your coil. Make sure you keep the wick nice & wet with juice as well. Let us know what is exactly is going wrong and were the hot spot is if you can. :)

Ok- if you just have to keep you wick wet with juice... I am fine.... I get 0 hot spots with a wet wick. I have to heat it up to ever get red? It's defiantly not instant. Am I all set?

Yes keep your wick wet while your breaking in your coil, it makes it alot easier.

When will I have a chance to purchase the next LE? I don't own an iHybrid yet, but would like to start with a nice LE. I was really hoping to get the illuminati but I missed out =(.
Anyone know when the hell raiser, or next non pink/purple LE comes out?

And is it possible to purchase a standard iHybrid and somehow buy the anodized tubes to make an LE replica?
