Take your 32 kanthal and twist it together (Tight) and wrap a 4/5 coil and make sure your top coil is pretty even with where it goes on the possitve post. Pull the wick close to the possitive post (Almost touching) make sure your bottom coil coming from neg screw is off the base of the atty. Make sure your wick isnt touching the bottom of the tank, also make sure your wick is Well Oxidized. Try that and you will have a Monster... Also Make sure your wick stays good and wet with juice, until it has broken in...

I'll try pulling my wick in even closer also...I've been given this advice before...guess I need to come in a lil bit more...

If so, you may be closer than you think and just flooding it!

Try a lower angle, and pinch closed the top of the wick.

Mornin hybreeds, man ECF was down hard last night. Got a few chapters of Dances With Dragons in, taking forever to finish that one.

Also made a twisted 32 coil 3/4 that came out to 1.3ohms on a fat 325 wick, went really well no hotspots and only a smidge of poking to get all wraps working great. It works so well it's almost too much, may have to drop my nic or add a wrap. The combination of the plumes of vapor and flavor are so far beyond anything I've used up to this point it's insane. Is it normal to have to drop nic levels with hybrids?

My volt meter bounces till it gets to 0.0 rarely i see a 0.1, i suppose on a bouncy day it could be a 1.1 / 1.2 but it stays at 1.2 with no bounce if you leave the leads on for 10 seconds

oh yea this is 32ga twisted with 325 mesh, i vape 100% VG home made menthol

Most people drop their nic level when switching to genesis RBA's because of how well they perform. I myself dropped the nic from 18mg to 8mg (considering 6mg) even with a dripping RBA.

To the person who was upset about his ihy not being gunmetal, I think it might be. It's just very light in color.

That was me who said that. I'm not upset but it definitely is not the color gunmetal. There is one gunmetal and this is not it.

What I am upset about is the blemish on my 18650 tube. (somehow the 18650 tube has a blemish and the 18350 that was rolling around the bag with the allen wrench is perfect..) Either way, I'm not dealing with 310vapers again. I passed on the Orion just because I won't buy from them anymore.

REGARDLESS, I can't wait to get home from work and vape my standard!! Also, when my AVL juices arrive, hopefully next week, I'm going to try the twisted 32ga coil and possibly some 500 mesh.

You could always anodize it yourself if you're dissatisfied with the color. Would be a fun project in my book, but then not everyone enjoys that kind of thing.

I just don't understand is how a color can be opinion =\ (multiple people on here have said that I'm wrong and it actually is gunmetal when in fact, it is not. Maybe the annodizing company told Faceless that's what it is but it definitely is not gunmetal)

ex., BLACK. If someone says they have a block shirt, I expect to see a black a black shirt. Not a gray shirt. It's a color not an opinion.. Either way I'm happy with the way it performs. I plan on buying a different color 18650 sleeve in the future (do they make black sleeves?) as well as a thread ring. I'll use this one with the blemish as my "in the field" sleeve.

I also need to get some 18350s. The device (with the 18650 tube) is way smaller than I expected (diameter). And with the 18350 tube it is tiny! Perfect for having an occasional high quality vape at work.

Right now I use a kGo 1100mah at work and occasionally toot my provari/J-Tank.

One problem I have with the iHy: I found out I don't like my "favorite" juice as much as I thought I did lol. I'm hoping the Alice in Vapeland Sweet Tea tastes good because I drink ice tea like I need it to live. hah

I'm thinking about getting it Hydro Dipped (professionally. DIY doesn't have as many good designs/custom designs)! They can do some awesome designs.

What really matters to me is the quality of the vape. And even though I'm new I got it working great and it blew me away. Even if it isn't gunmetal it's still aesthetically pleasing, IMO. I just need to find a juice I love. I'm really hoping I enjoy the Ice tea flavor from Alice in vapeland. I ordered nicole's "A little bit of everything" sample pack and an extra bottle of the ice tea flavor (I can't remember the actual name of it) because I love Iced Tea more than anything.

I hear ya, i had to start making my own menthol and step down to 12mg my old fav juice hits like pure mint, and i like a little almond and tobacco in there.
As far as the gunmetal thing, i have several guns from Kimber to Colt to Beretta and i think i have seen 5 or 6 different versions of the term gunmetal, who knows, it vapes our ... off and sends PG or VG shivers down our spines anyway.

I was vaping Dekang watermelon @ 18mg.. It tastes good on my carto tank and my mega cartos. In the ihy it's not horrible but it's not something I would vape all day.

I'm going to order some more samples today, I think. My AIV order should ship tomorrow.. I should have ordered from their BEFORE black friday. Because of the sale and all the orders placed mine has taken over a week for processing.
