Evening folks. Finally starting to feel a little better. Choked down some food finally. Almost went 2 days without eating. It was kind of ruff going there for a bit. Hopefully I can sleep the rest of it off tonight.

Even though I rarely drip anymore. I use a 306 DCA. Love it. But ever since I got my UFS set up on my GG there is no need for the DCA. Love this set up!! Using a Vapage Atty helps too. Great flavor and clouds of vapor!! No it doesnt replace my iHy but its pretty close. Easier for me to set up too. No shorts there. LOL!!

Face I hope your family is doing good. Sounds like things are almost back to normal for you. Im really glad your little one finally got over his sickness. Hope you enjoyed your delayed Christmas!!

Really cool! Hey I've seen a couple of you guys have posted pictures of these carbon fiber sleeves and I had a question for ya.

Can you take them on and off multiple times without the sleeve being ruined?

I haven't taken one off yet, but they're supposed to be high quality auto decal material. In his review JC West took one off and said it left no residue... They're marketed specifically towards high end mods so I'd assume if they damaged them people would get ...... lol.

Ladystrick9- here's another way to get a really good wick. This method is not posted on your info sheet. First heard about it from Pete54 over on IVC. Called the burrito method. Works really great for me
This does several things
1. can lay down the mod on it's side without flooding for a long time
2. wicks a little better for chain vaping
3. Uses less mesh material-thus faster heating of coil
4. No leaking back into the tank so the e-liquid stays the right color.
Take a length of 3mm silica, cut a piece of 400 or 500 mesh about 25 to 30 mm, roll the mesh with the silica in it very tight to fit in wick hole. do whatever coil you normally do i.e. 4/3 or 5/4 for the ohms you want and vape away.
I've also found that the 32 twisted gets gunked up way too fast causing flavor change. Using 30 IMO is the best all around.

I've done this before with various atomizers but at the end of the day I don't want to use anything silica. Any silica particles pass into your lungs and they can never be expelled. It's simply impossible for your body to get rid of silica in your lungs.

Do I know that silica wick will cause something like this? No I don't. But the long term studies simply don't exist due to the relatively new nature of the industry.

A few months ago a stray piece of silica(that was wrapped in mesh in an odysseus) shot to the back of my throat and caused me to hack for about 10 minutes. Although a piece that size could never pass into the lungs, I realized at that point that I had no idea if small particles are shooting off the wick as it's being heated. I just don't trust it anymore. It's a personal choice but for me, vaping glass, is basically not an option anymore.

All of that being said, the same method works quite well with cotton wicks.

I use the 2000mah np in my hellraiser.

Yep the 2000 work the best so far.. switch seems to stick a lil. Think it needs to wear in a bit before using my other batts. Was having problems. But with the 2000 its good.. might take the switch and see if there is maybe a lil burr in there or something.. prolly add a lil no-ox-id while I have it open.. otherwise takes a lil bit to get used to the feel., think it gonna work out perty good

Landlord I saw you were on the list. Should be any day now. The only problem I have with it is you cant put a tank with a carto on it. there is no air flow for the tank. But Im sure I will find something that works. Threads are really smooth and it fires everytime. Thats all that matters to me. It works! It looks sexy too!

I'm loving the new switch myself. I think I have vaped almost twice as much today using it vs the old one just because I don't have to fiddle with that lock ring twice every time I want a vape. Just seems like a much more seamless and thoughtless act without the lock ring, which is great for me as I'm almost always vaping while doing something else.

It was brought up several times in the last 8 pages or so but I know the thread moves fast lol.

The ones he sent out on friday went out, saturday his daughter got sick so he didnt have a chance to send the saturday batch. His son then got sick (who is 6 months old) so it was further delayed, everyone is feeling better now but he delayed his family's christmas celebration until this morning due to the illness's. Once he is done having a holiday with his family he will get back to work, no updates since then.

don't feel bad....being as I'm a special situation, not having to F5 w/ the rest of ya, I recieved no shipping info from Face, ihy or 310, and don't know if it was a friday sent unit or one of those held back from being shipped saturday..... when it ships, it ships.... to me, Face's kids getting healthy and his sanity (which his latest update on FB mentions) is/was more important...the rest will be shipping soon ;)

I knew that face's kids were ill and I would never think the shipping of a PV was more important. I wasn't implying anything by that post so I'm not sure why it was conveyed that way, but I've been misread before (beginning to think I'm bad at online conversations!). I just haven't had time with work and whatnot to actually read every page in the thread, and I saw on FB someone had said they all shipped, which I wasn't sure of because the USPS has sent me items before with delivery confirmation that never updated online. Im not too anxious over it - was just conveying what I knew (tracking info) and what I had heard (they all shipped).

Yeah EZ I couldn't agree more. When I read about silicosis and the facts about silica inhalation I was shocked. Never used the stuff again. Sure, no proof that our PVs manage to send enough silica dust into our lungs but that's just not a risk I'm willing to take. And it honestly worries me that generic atties usually use silica and most people know nothing about the subject. Most don't even know what atty wicks are made of.

I broke down and bought a new ZAU, pulled the insulator, installed a Fat wick with Twisted 32 - 3/4 wrap @ 1.0 ohm... I must say it is making Clouds of Vapor... lol The engraving on the top cap is deep now.

I thought about the chi-mod, but when you have the real thing... Ehh ;)
