whats up guys, just picked up a standard ihy on the classifieds should be in my hands wed! pretty stoked this will be my first hybrid but not first genesis any tips?
Enjoy! Not sure if you need any tips if it isn't your first. I will say when I first got one I popped a few coils. Make sure you don't break in a new coil with a fully charged battery. You probably already know that though haha.
Are there any pics of the actual Syn around yet? Or even better, any reviews out yet?
Ah little different then as you can't lower the voltage obviously. Just use a battery at about half charge to break in the coil. It is actually a very easy setup lots of room to work with. Best is always trial and error honestly their is no consensus as to the best way to set it up. Part of the brilliance is the versatility.

Yea I have always had that neck punch from boba even when I used cartos so maybe it's just me.I set it up in an aga t and although the flavor is nice it gets unbearable.

If you look back Ezkill has done some reviews of the beta one he has, he has also taken pictures, tho he has warned the pictures where of the test model and not the production model

Prepare yourself for the best vape you've ever had lol. Seriously tho, it hits STRONG. If you've set up a gennie on a Provari you'll have no problems with the iHy. Just use a half dead battery to work out the shorts as others have said. Also, you'll be relying on setup instead of voltage to tweak your vape. The wick hole is huge (3mm). Just remember the fatter the wick, the more heat you'll need. I'm running a 2.8mm solidly rolled wick at .7 ohms with a 4/3 wrap of 28g kanthal. Needless to say, the vape is intense.
using a lavagen, 4/5 wrap 32g kanthal 400ss mesh solid wrap wick. not sure what size the wick hole is but its not 3mm for sure
bobbas bounty - tastes like raisins and gasoline to me, but a lot of people like it
