i avoid LA like the plague, although there are some very good restaurants there. i have to go out there for business usually a couple times a year. i actually don't hate LA at all, just large swathes of it. everything's so spread out and you have to go with a local to find the really cool stuff and cool people. it's actually just like South Florida, there's tons of people from every everywhere else but there, which is cool sometimes, but it tends to drive all the things worth caring about into isolated little pockets while the majority or land is covered with familiar sprawl like fast food restaurants and shopping centers. but when you find the awesome stuff, it can be truly awesome.

I put a link for driptipdesignz I think I may have made a mistske. They will not answer on fb or their home site if they use lead free brass. Guys please until I can get a answer dont vape or buy these tips. If I understand right the wrong brass can lead to poisoning. Please be careful. Sorry again for posting without having the info.

Got it.....its the only way I can get one due to the time zone here and sale times. Anyone know if a new switch will fit it or if this version has any "known" issues?

That was a great deal. Known issues? Not really. Know that aluminum is a soft metal, so be aware of that when you lock and unlock the switch. Don't twist it too hard. There can be a gap if you are using a kick, but other than that, nothing. New switch should fit.

and let me add:

Thanks for your service!

They did have a few stainless steel cored tips on there too. But that being said, super low quality stainless can contain lead also cant it?

I emailed them as well, but they haven't answered me either. That's enough of an answer for me... Shame as they have some beautiful all brass tips.

You where probably better off buying that from the classies anyway with the deal you got lol. same set up would have cost you about $75 more to buy new. Yes the new switch fits just fine, but that bad boy will be a collectors item soon as is... The only issue I ever had with mine is that I ended up with my favorite mods gathering dust after I got it lol.

BTW if anyone deserves that great deal you got it's you sir, thanks for protecting my rights

i'll ask too, should i ask if they seal the brass or if they just plan on switching to ss?

There is some brass that does not contain added lead, with that brass it isn't important if they seal it or not. But guys is it really worth the hassle? Someone that won't answer such an important question is not who I would want to do business with, as tells me they won't be around to answer any other questions or problems either.

^thats very true, the problem is they do make a good looking tip and i had to talk my gf out of ordering a couple of them the other day, i wouldnt want her or any of my freinds vaping w/ them if thwy are unsafe, so for someone didnt know about the brass/lead thing maybe our comments will help them, or just convince the person making them to switch to SS

But yes i aggree i would just ignore it if i knew for sure what they were doing wasnt hurting ppl.

Cyclin, did you get your multimeter figured out?

Lol dunno. It was actually the member Ingline that was getting bad readings. He said his brother was testing his coils for him and kept getting .1ohm

He mentioned it in the thread and I was trying to help him, but multimeters aren't my area of expertise and I don't own the same model as him.
