That's my experience as well. Unlike the Darwin, and DNA20 which monitor resistance throughout the firing cycle and will constantly change voltage and amps to maintain the set wattage. It's generally only a noticeable difference with new or old coils though.
Of course you can buy a VV v3 for every day of the week for less than the cost of a Darwin...

Oddly enough, I went through several charge cycles with this lower capacity and then the battery seems to have recovered quite a bit. While it's still not up to what my newer VV is at, It's back up to just under 300 puffs before it goes into red. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before?

It is an undocumented feature. The MVP 2.0 has built in phone charging capability. The vv3 has built in rattlesnake repellant.
I don't own one!

Guaranteed not to rattle anymore... of course it also won't fire either... but at least the rattle will be gone.

Got my iTaste EP in today, one thing I really like is the floating center pin. Can't over screw in a tank and have to pull up the center pin to make contact (which I have to do on the VV V3.0) it is spring loaded on the EP. Wonder why Innokin did not do that with the VV V3.0? Or for that matter all there products? It is a great idea. I took a pen, and you can press it down and it springs back up, Really Good Idea for all connections, IMHO....

Maybe the floating pin is what they will do from now on, really hope so, as the connection problems with the MVP2 is a real pain in the ...., had a few problems with the V3, but nothing like I do with the MVP2.
It will burn up the VV3 or the MVP. Charge only on the input port. They're not made like egos.
