Hey,
It screws down in so that it looks very similar to the 801 and only sticks out slightly....The battery life is pretty good ....Its not fabulous but this little puppy is small and the case has a belt clip which is pretty col...This was my first "Mod" and I still use it every now and then...The batts are pretty small so you can keep an extra one with you to last 6 to 10 hours depending on how heavily you vape... I also have the High Drain IMR 10440 batts in ...Thanks
Drew

High Drain batteries deliver more amps without taxing the bateries...Although the Mah rating is lower , that is based on calculations made with a higher amperage draw.
In a nut shell they are better suited for Low Resistance Atomizers and Cartomizers which draw much more amperage...Thanks for your interest in my products!!!

Also, since it only sticks out a little bit from the body, how easy is it to remove if I want to use an 801 atty or carto?

That would depend on which version Drew is selling, which was going to be my question. If it's V2, it's more difficult to get the atty or the adapter out. If it's V3, much easier.

This is the V2...It 801 connection....The adapter to the 501 looks just like an 801 but the 510 goes down inside of it to produce the same "llok" as an 801 atty...I havent had any problems cahngin them out...Ive actually been using an LR 306 (which is shorter) with and IMR High drain battery, and its working great. Thanks

This is the V2...It takes a proprietory 801 atty....The adapter to the 501 looks just like an 801 but the 510 goes down inside of it to produce the same "llok" as an 801 atty...I havent had any problems cahngin them out...Ive actually been using an LR 306 (which is shorter) with and IMR High drain battery, and its working great. So will it take a standard 801 atty? Or is the Proprietary one required?

    Somewhere between here and there
It's funny that you mentioned it Drew but I was just going to ask how the JS performed with an lr306. I had a stick before but sold it because the vapor was too cool for me with an 801 and that was before the LR attys came out. Kinda makes me wish I would have kept it now.

I have a V2 also and the 510 connector that I kept and reintroduce myself in using when I start using the 306 atty, I haven't had a problem with the connections (510 to the 810) and it vapes great. Whether you doing 801/510 its also another great carry around PV device.

Got my Janty Stick a couple of weeks ago from you folks, and it's now turned into my take to work pv :) Just one small issue with the unit as a whole, the battery compartment is a very snug fit for the 10440, and it's a bit of a hassle to get it out to swap them (it seems that the top threaded portion is just a hait too small to allow the battery to slide freely in & out of the compartment..). I've managed to fiddle the battery out after arguing with it using a wooden toothpick (more than one, they tend to break under pressure... :) ). Any suggestions?
