was just on evolv's twitter page by accident lol
and saw they tweeted this about 2 weeks ago:

Kick2
Output Power- 5 Watts to 15 Watts
Output Voltage- 2 Volts to 6.3 Volts
Output Current- 6 Amps
Atty Resistance- 0.5 Ohms to 3.3 Ohms
sounds like it will kick ..... and i will try one i think.

sorry if this is old news, i didnt remember seeing it.

while 15 w is still kinda low.............

I don't get the point of it?

Even if I was vaping at .5 ohms and 3.3V (considering V drop, ect.) I would still be at 21+ watts on an un-kicked mech.

then this isnt being built for you.

the whole reason for regulation in the first place is to avoid having to build coils for voltage drop.

Def not for me, just saying, seems like it regulates down for any sub coil.

Prob cool for micro coils, but not as cool as the DNA20.

Not entirely.... It is also to regulate the voltage flow giving you the same voltage from the beginning of a freshly charged battery to when it's almost dead. However, if it can't handle what we throw at it, it becomes a moot point..

yea strange isnt it? that they cant incorporate that into it somehow. looking at the board though the dna20 is probably a wee too big.
none the less at least they are upgrading.

Well maybe... You can lose a little bit of that board because of the elimination of the display.

i dunno the pics they have up of just the 20 by itself the chip is the board (size wise) so if the actual chip wouldnt go in a tube a board with the added pots and post def would be a trick.

LOL, not everyone sets up their rigs for sub ohm vaping. Its nice that they added more flexibility. I know Im a minority here, but I like modest set ups and never need more than 8 watts. I just like the ability to use my mechanical device and get a good consistent experience from start to finish with no drop off of my batteries. No big deal that the life of the battery is shorter as the level of performance drop off way before the battery is dead.

I love my kick and vaping without one in my ELA is good, but best for me with regulated. Best of both worlds, Just my 2 cents.

I saw a photo of the new version, and I do like how they took the spring away and put a post like the Crown has, but they have 2 posts now which might make better contact with tube.

Meh, double stack the boards like they did on the original... Problem solved... Hehe....

I mean, using this as a size comparison, it isn't that big:
