I've been vaping the stock coil over a week now with daily dryburn and rinsed in hot water about three times to clean wick. My juice is a real gunker of any coils. Still going great. I decoiled one Killer so I could show it to "Our Jack" Sunday, when we met for lunch. I'm pretty sure the stock build is all resistance wire. I didn't look really closely before throwing the still working coil away as it was pretty gunked but I'm pretty sure there was no non-resistance wire used. AND the stock wire runs through the tiny holes in ceramic cup unlike the video showing how to recoil KIller using R and NR wire. ALSO, when I did a dry burn this morning, on stock build coil/wick/wire, after patting excess juice from wicks, I was in low light, and right below the ceramic cup a wire is glowing orange when I dryburn. That's resistance wire!!
With proper eyesight and/or magnification, that so many of us need to work with these tiny bits n pieces, I don't see it being much of an issue threading the resistance wire through the tiny holes in the ceramic cup. When I have time I'll play with it some and report. BTW... The video showing testing the resistance part of build is really great. That is how we can test our wire length, for ohm, before making coil either using only NR/R or R only. Also, twisting the silver NR wire onto the R is not really that much trouble.
