Howdy all I'm new to the forum, but have vaped for sometime now. I love rdas especially sqounkers. However I wanted to start a thread on the latest and greatest rdas to hit the market anywhere, and just general discussion on thoughts and desires for new rdas and opinions on newly released rdas. It doesn't have to be a super mainstream rda could be a limited run kind of dream or a mass produced rda just as long as it's new or up an coming. Thank you all

In my younger days i was a tobacco pipe smoker. Before long I had my favorite tobacco and pipes. Nothing needed to be improved. That's almost true with my vape. I've stopped looking for a better atomizer. My preferred mod form factor is the Pico. I upgraded the Pico with Arctic Fox firmware recently which is teaching me more about what the device is doing on each puff and that may influence how I build coils. May be the electronic boards will see improvements but I expect those to be incremental, not game changing. Collectors want a steady stream of "new" stuff. I'm not a collector.

Welcome and glad you joined.
I vape only RDA's. There are so many types, I wish you luck in addressing the subject.

Hi and welcome. I vape a lot of RDAs on my mechanical mods, but I mostly use RDTA/RTAs on my regulated mods. I am no authority on the latest and greatest, but I will offer the suggestion if you think the flavor in RDAs is far and away superior to RTAs you have not tried some of the newer ones. These things have come a long way. I do agree with you the humble squonkbox is probably the best of both worlds.

It's certainly a question that involves personal preference.... But I'll play along

If I'm using an RDA, it's bottom fed. My current list is:
1. Narda
2. Hadaly
3. Goon 22 or 24. Not a fan of the LP.
4. Stumpy
5. Nuppin

That's the top 5 out of I don't know how many. I really only use the top 2 anymore.

@Asbestos4004 that's the kind of answers I'm looking for. What is it you like about the top two and what all have you seen that's new that catches you eyes. And I'm all for everyone's personal preference
What I like about the Narda....to me, it's the perfect combination of flavor and vapor production. With a slight modification to the top cap, it's the smoothest, quietest atty I've ever used. What I don't like about it is availability. You'll have better luck finding a unicorn holding a needle in a haystack, however, I hear some of the clone manufacturers nailed it.
Hadaly: very cool build deck. Some innovation. Excellent flavor and a little more air than the NarDa. Very simple build. They are readily available and the price is very reasonable.

Thoughts and desires....

I'd dig a 25mm RDA that came with multiple build decks (like true single coil...not just a silicone plug to block airflow to an empty chamber) that support larger coils, one with bottom and side airflow that's fully adjustable, as well as both squonking and standard 510 connectors. (also, preferably with spring loaded clamps a la Pharoah) and built so you can use your own Goon style drip tip.

The best and greatest are so subjective...my best may be your worst and vice versa. My daily rotation includes RDAs RTAs and RDTAs, top 5:

1) Kryten RDA
2) Pharoah RDA
3) Gaia RDTA
4) Aromamizer Plus RTA
5) Medusa RDTA

The Medusa is a favorite lately...you can drip it, or fill the 3ml tank section, and its bell shaped cap really concentrates the flavor of your vape.

How are the krytens? I've been thinking about picking one up to sideline my goon lp on top of my halcyon

Kryten's been pretty good to me. I'm using it in dripping mode and not squonking, though that may change. Solid build, good sized build deck and very clean lines...it's aesthetics are top notch. You can use your own Goon style drip tips, and that's a plus as well.
And the airflow? Between the original Plume veil and something like the Buddha v3 where does it sit

There's a new RDA about to hit the market I'm interested in (preordered...just waiting for them to be released) called the Druga by Augvape. What really stands out are the post screws: they have knurled tops that seem like you can tighten without a screwdriver. It honestly just looks like many other rda's out there, with a little change here and there.
