The Lavatube is not on the Volcano site for general order as of yet. Most everybody that has received from Volcano was on a preorder list or may have been a tester. There were a few that either found a back door in and got an order or shared someones email link for the preorder which BTW have all been closed. Volcano is anticipating general sale to start this week which revolves around when they receive their shipment.

That's interesting.

Okay, Volcano CS got back to me and they sent me a prepaid shipping label to send my Lavatube back. I've dealt with them before and they always had me try a thing or two before resorting to RMA, but I'm thinking maybe they've heard of this before and know it's just gonna end up in an RMA.

Sucks I have to send it back, but hopefully the replacement unit/repair improves the experience, cause I'm not diggin' it right now.

I hope the LT turns out to be a good device for variable voltage vaping. I do not however think it should be said to be "like the Provari". Thats kinda like saying a Volkswagen is like a Cadillac.

Or a hamburger is like a prime fillet. Or a catfish is like a swordfish. etc etc etc.

About the only similarity is that they are both V Voltage devices. Ones a cheap import the other a solid well designed well built piece of equipment.

Just Saying....

Sucks you're having a problem! But isn't it great that you got a response back, a 1 year warranty and Pre-paid return shipping? I was on te fence about getting one but now that I have it, I don't know how I've been vaping without a vv mod! I haven't had problems with mine at all, but if I do I'm glad to hear volcano is there to help!

I've done alot of research. On various vv mods before purchasing the LT, but was put off by alot of complaints about warranty service and lack of response from vendors that are hailed by alot of these "pro" reviewers!

Hmm. I tried 2 different types of cartos, several different cartos of the same time, 4 different types of attys, including lr,sr and hv atties. Only 2 work, 1 being a super old atty I got with the riva and the other is the lavatube atty. Anything else won't work on it. I literally have to turn it back notches to get it to fire but the second I pull the driptip the atties move to the side and short it out. This really can't be a problem on my end as I get the same results with all different kinds of 510 accessories. Here's a question, Is anyone using a boge, smoktech, gh1, or joye atty or carto and has had no problem with the threading and has an atty that seats nicely and fires everytime? This can't be right. I am pretty sure having an atty that doesn't screw in all the way adds for leaking easier too which is annoying. I sent a ticket, god knows how long it will take to get the envelope, then send it to hawaii, then back to me, probably the same mod with nothing changed. It's gotta be a threading issue. Anyone else having problems?

I have been using a MV Dual Coil 510 Tank with a 2.0 ohm pre-punched Smok Tech carto on my lavatube for a couple of days with no problems so far. I have also been using a ego mega type B atty on it with no problems. Both seat well and fire every time I hit the button with no leaking. I had been using the tank, carto and atty on my ego mega for about a week and a half before I received the lavatube.

That sucks. Mine fires, the draw is just really airy, and I got some leaking too since the holes on the atty are almost entirely exposed above the connection.

They just sent me a shipping label to print out, so there's no waiting there. There is the wait for it to get to them, for them to check it out, and decide to repair/replace it, so I'm at that stage of the game now. Good luck with yours!

I'm using boge cartos and 306 attys... no issues.

mine does have a slight slant, which I didn't notice until I read about and checked.

as far as the gap, it's about the same as my Provari... no issues there on my unit. (the depth from the top of the 510 connection/where threads start to the center contact pin... LT= 4.20mm Provari=4.24mm)
