I only quit a week ago today, but my teeth are already about 5 shades whiter No more waking up the entire house with my late night trips down to the garage to smoke (and accidentally walking into the wall in the dark lol). No more stinking myself up immediately after taking a shower with a cigarette. And the best thing of all-- no more lung cancer constantly looming over my head.

~No more smoke or ash in the eye when driving.
~No more having to roll the car window down when it's pouring rain or freezing cold.
~No more littering! The only time you'll see my .... on the ground these days is when I'm sitting.
~My son hugs me and tells me I "finally smell pretty".
~No more having to paint my nails all the time to cover the discoloration from the tar.
~No more embarrassing tar stains on my fingers.
~No more waking up with a sore throat or cough.
~No more kissing my ex-smoking husband knowing I taste like an ashtray.
~I can taste and smell again.
~I have more energy.
~My day doesn't revolve around when I can go outside and smoke.
~I can make it to the end of a movie. No more missing crucial scenes or aggravating my non-smoking friends and family members asking them to pause the DVD.
~No more telling my son, "I'll do that in a minute...after I have a cigarette."
~No dumping full ashtrays.

Lesisurely shopping for supplies on the
PC rather than having to stop at a crowded store.

walk into a room full of people after vaping and feeling refreshed without a worry that you smell like a chimney.

Being able to give a big hug and kiss at a moments notice to my little princess without making her wait till i wash my hands and face.

Never having to hear "Daddy you stink!"

Indeed - +1 for awesomeness.

Love all the posts, here's one to add that I've not seen yet.

My first trip to a Dentist yesterday since quitting analogs 3 months ago.
Hygienist searching around my mouth exclaims...your Leukoplakia is gone! First I thought she just swore at me, then she explained it's a pre-cancerous white 'film' on the tissues that some smokers get.

So, to celebrate, I vaped my Riva in the dentist chair while all the employees came in to check it out!
I thought it was pretty kool!:2cool:

I can't even place my starter kit order for a few weeks, just don't have the funds, yet. But I 100% plan on doing it, ASAP. So, some things I already know I won't miss:

Not hitting my inhaler after every other cig.
Not telling my baby to stop being so hilarious, because I'm literally dying of laughter.
Not having tobacco flakes and dust in every crevice and covering the screen of my cellphone.
Not having pockets full of tobacco flakes.
Not having tobacco flakes in my INHALER, which I never notice, and end up having stuck in the back of my throat. Coughing and gagging at the same time is no fun.
Not coughing so much at times that I start gagging.
The novelty of being able to "hold my liquor" when the above happens while I'm drinking...
Not having to find my shoes whenever I need to smoke.
Finally having a reason to clean up all the ash and butts scattered outside the house, because I won't just be tossing another one out there, anyhow, anymore.

No longer literally killing myself every single day. Had a superb health record before smoking. No hospital visits for any reasons. Then BAM, 5 lung related emergencies in my 8 years of smoking. I live off of this inhaler, and I'd love to have it back on "in emergency" status, rather than using it more often that I use the bathroom.

I smoke three times a day at work on average. I'm the only smoker on the executive staff. They don't love it when I come into a meeting reeking like smoke and naturally they aren't shy people and so they aren't going to hide it if they don't like my scent. So to compensate I'd only take that break if I was at least 30 minutes before meeting. But the things is it seems I'm almost always 30 minutes from a meeting so it was absurdly difficult!

also when it gets stuck your fingers slid down to the cherry and burnt the hell out of you.
Holy cow! Yes, I did that once. That was the worst burn I ever had because I was smoking Camel Wides at the time and it was burned so bad into my fingers that the cherry stuck to my fingers as I pulled the cig off (well flung it off).

I'll tell you, I don't miss fire in general! I was always paranoid about leaving a .... going in the ashtray or burning things.

That is definitely one of the best benefits. Whenever I left my apartment I always had to go back in to double- (or triple-) check that I hadn't left anything burning. It was such an ingrained habit that it took about 6 months before I stopped unlocking the door, then realizing that I didn't have to go in.
