I am so glad to finally be free of the tobacco companies, and that I'm not giving away my money in taxes on something that was killing me.

not leaving the house, getting half way to work and not being able to "remember" (that is see in my minds eye) myself putting out my cigarette and having to compulsively go back home to make sure I put my cigarette out fully!!! So glad thats over.
Not looking for change at the bottom of my purse and ending up with a fist full of tobacco remnants.

Odd, since I've spent 3 months worth of cigarette purchases on getting set up to vape (and hopefully making it so my girlfriend can get set up for < $50), but I haven't had that "OMG, I have $5 left in my account and X days left till I get paid" feeling for the last month. I used to have to go through everything to figure out if I had enough gas and smokes to get me through so I could start rationing if I didn't.
I guess it's because I'm still budgeting like I smoke so leaving myself extra money after buying wants and needs at the beginning of every check. Never realized just quite how much that $45 carton (I know, that's still cheap) hit me hard in the last week of a pay period.

The few times I have to reset my phone, I have to remove the battery. Every time I would do that, I'd end up spending 5 minutes trying to pick little brown flakes from my phone.
My favorite will be not having the guy @ the gas station grab a pack of cigarettes for me before I even asked for them. He means well, and I appreciate him, but I hate it when he does that.

Not having to point out to the clerk where they are located...
Not having to stash a lighter everywhere just in case I forgot one. I just gathered up 19 disposable lighters!

1. My desk isn't covered in ashes from the little ones that missed or leapt out of the ashtray
2. My car isn't covered in those same ashes
3. Sat at the table and vaped while playing Yahtzee with Mom instead of taking several cig breaks
4. No longer having people not want to sit by you cuz you reek of smoke
5. The dating pool opened up -- searching for non-smokers = 185, searching for smokers = 5 (and most looked like lowlifes)
6. Not looking like a lowlife myself
7. Looking forward to the money saved. This initial investment has been more than normally spend on 2 cartons, but now that I'm stocked up, it will be about a quarter of that each month.

Not lighting the wrong end of cig and getting that horrific taste that only people who have lit the wrong end of a cig can appreciate.
Not doing the one-handed match lighting thing (you know, folding over the match, pressing the match head against the striker, and flicking it) and having it accidentally setting off the whole damned book of matches... and having the phosphorous 'stick' to the inside of you ring-finger and burn the hell out of it...

this is a great thread! I can relate to nearly all of these and I dont miss any of them!
I have been vaping for a week, and I KNOW I will never go back to analogs. I had a pack of analogs when I bought my first set up, and it was sooooo hard to smoke them after starting vaping. They tasted gross and I could only smoke a 1/3 of a cigarette before having to snuff it out because it was just too gross. I dont know why I didnt just throw away the analogs other than I couldnt see throwing away $8.. wont have to worry about that again!
