The Good

The biggest thing for me so far is my extreme delight in my restoring sense of smell; I'm very passionate about food and even more-so now

I'm also very anti-litter, I would never throw a ..... I no longer worry about grabbing the .... from my car ashtray each time I park or stinking to high-heaven from a back-pocket full of butts (well, cigarette butts)

At work I can:
-vape in the vehicles
-Vape near combustibles
-Vape on properties
-Not be paired with "Stinky"
-Not washing my hands and face before working around executives, feeling more attractive (of course they are all women)
-Not getting called a hypocrite almost every day for eating health food and doing yoga while smoking
-Not feeling guilty for sneaking smokes
-No more urge to smoke or vape every opportunity I get, because I can do it pretty much all the time

In public, I:
-vape at the grocery store, hardware store, liquor store and library
-vape in bars
-approach women who aren't smoking
-buy less random items at the corner store to bring my cigarette purchase up to $10 so I can charge it
-am even more eccentric

At home, I:
-vape at the computer
-vape in bed

The Bad
-I don't use deodorant (I do shave my armpits), now when I get sweaty I can't just try and cover it up with smoke. Lost a quick & convenient way to cover up other undesirable smells, too
-I've fallen back in love with scotch, now that I can really appreciate the full bouquet of flavors, and have switched to drinking the good stuff
-I spend *way* more money on vaping than cigarettes and see it only getting worse
-Getting tonsilitis on the constant
-Dripping and Driving is pretty dangerous

Don't think you were covering anything up with smoke....I think you just felt better cause you couldn't smell it. I think if you were to meet your old self today with your super vaper senses, I think you would tell yourself you smell like cigarettes, sweat and shame...thems the breaks...I'm sure u smell lovely now...

My parents didn't know I smoked, so I would have to roll the window down all the way when I smoked, including in -40 canadian winters...also when I would pitch it going down the highway, and the wind would catch it, that few minutes where you're not sure if it went outside, or you're waiting for the backseat to burst into flames...i'm ashamed....

Not having to think everytime a lighter blows out or a match fails to light that some dead relative or friend is trying to get thru to you with a "sign". ( yeah I know I am odd)

NO, I have totally thought that, too!! Esp. since I have two relatives who have died of smoking related diseases.

No ones saying you're wrong...:p

Little over a month since I quit smoking.

1. Not having to take smoke breaks while watching a movie or tv with my fiance. I can vape inside during the movie, I freakin love that.

2. Not having to go outside! I live in NH and it gets COLD. It was so stupid going out in 10 degree weather just to smoke a cig.

3. Not stinking. Once I clean my truck out this spring, my truck will stay clean and not smell like "burnt ... hair" as my classy fiance says haha.

4. Save money. I was spending $150+ a month on Newports, ridiculous.

5. No more grossness. I used the large fast food cups as my ashtrays and they would be overflowing with butts, yuck!

1) I HUG MY KIDS MORE!!! (I hid my smoking from them and was always I afraid I smelled like smoke so I'd avoid hugging them when I got home until I washed my hands, sprayed pefume, brushed me teeth, etc)

2) I don't go out on phantom errands, driving around the neighbourhood to have a cig (because I was "hiding" it)

3) The obvious health benefits

4) Feeling proud of myself, instead of shameful everytime I had a cig

5) No stinking

6) The money I'm saving (at $10 a pack...I've saved a lot in 2+ months)

7) I've converted 2 other people so far to vapers instead of smokers

8) I can vape indoors!!!

9) My hair still smells like shampoo at the end of the day!

10) I have discovered ECF and am proud to belong to this great new community of fellow vapers!! :)

I spent two hours today with a beautiful lady with long brown hair, She is my customer. And I'm thinking, Dang, you smell like smoke.
The guy in the car next to me had his ashtray overflowing to the floor. Been there, done that. Nasty
I'm one of those people now, I told a friend not to smoke in my house. First time. It was not easy, But I just painted!
