I thought this might be a good thread for people deciding on which new device to buy. Sure, there are thousands of threads on the "newest" mods, the "sexiest" looking, "performance" after a week of two. So lets get down to the deal breaker...the million dollar question...What devise do you have, AND HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN WORKING PROPERLY? ??

Hopefully we will see some answers of months and years...not just weeks!!

Thanks for your participation! : )

Silver Bullet - Original, 3 years strong. And that's modded. I drilled a hole in the bottom and stuck two brass screws between some pvc piping with a USB cable pos/neg to the top and bottom screw so I could use it as a passthrough when my batt's were dead (Well, that's before I realized the amperage limitations on usb ports.

I also have an original rounded copper, and prodigy V1 from around the same timeframe - all still alive and kicking!

Also, If you're looking for data on really long lasting mods (2/3 years +), there are only a handful that have been round that long. Remember that "mod" development was entirely US based in the beginning (aside from the screwdriver/DSE901 I guess). It wasn't until later that chinese companies picked up on the growing trend to have larger, user-replaceable battery (and now variable volt/wattage) mods.

Ovale v8, 3 months - the rubber is peeling and the batt compartment is screwy other than that it works flawlessly (once u can get the batteries in) :D For $15 I can't complain. Oh and I've dropped it at least 4 times including just now while typing this post and it still works. Literally, I just dropped it.
haha! 3 months isn't bad at all for paying 15 bucks! I've been learning of mods that people have paid quadrupole for, that haven't lasted that long.

I was real happy with my Vamo ( that I only had for a month) before the center Penn got pushed in, and I could no longer get a connection. I guess it's a common problem...oh well. That's why it's so great to learn of mods, that have actually lasted, and are still going strong.
"center pin" whoops!
