The madness begins...

So...

I just got back from 4 days of camping in the Los Angeles National Forest. Good times! Before leaving town, I decided to make damned sure that I wouldn't be caught without a running battery or smoke juice, so I hit the local shop (Vapor Craze, on Atlantic Blvd.) and picked up 30mg of their very tasty Butterscotch juice. While I was there, I spotted a very reasonably priced Genesis atomizer. One thing led to another, and I walked out of the store with the atty, a Bolt, 3 18650 batteries, a charger, and the supplies to rebuild the wick and coil.

Totally different experience. As much as I enjoyed the eGo/Kanger rig, this thing puts out some VERY dense vapor, and the flavor is much, much stronger. It's too long, and much too heavy to easily carry around in my vest like the eGo rig was, but it was a total blast to use while camping, even if there was a bit of a learning curve to keeping the wick saturated.

Naturally, the 18350 mod I bought from Mountain Vapor showed up this morning. I'm charging the batteries right now, but the tube itself is very nice. Much nicer look and feel than the Bolt, at least to my taste.

Gotta give props to Mountain Vapor; I was expecting to get that silly-looking clearomizer they have on their website, but instead got two handsome eGo sized clearomizers, some spare attys and wicks, and a bit of juice, as well.

Good times.

So much for the madness...

A standard 650mah eGo battery and a T3 are hitting all the marks for me, so for the short-term, I'm good on hardware. Time to check out DIY juices!

you have fooled yourself into thinking that you're content.
wait 'till next week. LoL

best thing i can say to anyone that wants to vape.
go for the best you can afford now.
you'll spend alot of money and wind up wishing,
you had done it in the first place.

buy the best and pass up the rest.
spend once now, or twice later.
i like provari, they're made in the usa, they make me happy.
i don't live in china, so i'd rather not support them.
buy what makes you happy, and you will be.
it really doesn't matter what you use, how much you spend.
the point is, you're not smoking.
life is short, and you can't take it with you....
play with it 'till you're bored, then get a new one.

so this starter kit eGo-T Upgrade USB + CE4 Clearomizer Starter Kit - Vape Doctor isnt that good a buy? anyone have a better idea? I'm lost...

The rigs you linked are in the ballpark of what I got with my eGo starter kit. I just checked the Envy website, and their current deal is pretty much what you linked. I ended up ditching the CE4s in favor of the Kanger T3, but that had more to do with economics than performance. Also, my batteries don't have a nifty pass-through function like the rig you linked. I like it!

As for batteries, I don't know what brand is in my eGos. They've 14500 types. The 18350s I just got today are Trustfire, and the 18650s I got for the camping trip are AW IMR. I haven't been doing this long enough to have an opinion on battery brands yet, though...
