I woke up this morning ready to start packing for our Christmas trip as we do every year.
This morning however I was feeling especially lazy, I decided to read my morning news before I started and came across this little tidbit:
Congressman fights for his right to be a vapebro
Now I know this particular site to be active with vaping news as it's heavily focused on technology and what not, but they seem to take every bit of misinformation they can find about our hobby and amplify it by x100. Normally I would just close the page and laugh it off, but this story wasn't originally about the negatives of vaping, it was about a congressman from California who was fighting for our rights to vape and create awareness that yes vaping can indeed help people quit smoking!
Well as a result of the positive light he created this site decided it was time to absolutely destroy any theory he had and bring up as much dirty laundry as they could find on vaping. The sad part is lately they've only been censoring comments on certain topics on their site. Guess which article was closed with no comments allowed? I think I'm done with the Verge for a while, I honestly did enjoy their tech news but as of late I'm starting to see them in a whole new light.
