Was a little air headed this morning (2 hours sleep, studying for an exam), hence I obviously forgot to lock the button on my new BFF 1606 ;)
An hour into class I kept smelling a very distinct smell....butterscotch. Thankfully I still had enough common sense to check my Stealth just to find out it had been on and sizzling away in my bag nonstop for over an hour. It was so hot that I couldn't pick it up, grabbed a towel and took cartomizer and battery off. I don't know what saved this situation, maybe it was the XXXXL SmokTech carto, holding almost 5ml of liquid, or the off brand 18350 battery. After everything cooled down (took about 30 minutes), I was convinced I had ruined my GG, as well as the battery and carto. I put everything back into place and couldn't believe it. Everything worked, no damage to ANYTHING. Unbelieveble..... Went home, put the Stealth top cap into hot water to clean excess juice, shined him up and happily vaping away as I type. Thanks GG for a making a mod even "ditsy" blondes can use without causing serious damage ;)

Both things, your Stealth should be canonized. :nun: :D

I think the worst that could happen is your cartomizer get empty, so after some time the coil will broke or the battery get drain completely.

I will take special care to lock mine, I do not want that to happen, sometimes I keep it in my pants pocket, and you know, with my i-Atty on it, better don't think about it.

Torture test passed with flying colors.

Good deal, Silver. You made good choice, didn't you :)
1606 is certainly in my 50 top choice list;)
Ripple, I took my Stealth apart, put the connection cap into hot water after putting Noalox (sp) on it which came in the mail today, and also put some on a Q tip and went down the tube, cleaning the button and spring.
Somebody said I could just soak both pieces (including the tube with button). I was a bit worried to drop the tube into hot, soapy water. How do you clean it?
PS: I just saw my visitor messages, thanks guys you are great !!!!!

The button disassembles, I believe with a 10 mm and a 5 mm socket.......:)

Thanks. Would I have to disassemble the button in order to clean (put the whole thing in water) my Stealth, or could I just submerge the tube part fully in water as well as I did the cap buttom yesterday?

Last but not least, in case something would stoo working, the GG has a lifetime guarantee right (having bought it from COV), but where would we send it to, Imeo or COV ?

On a side note. Took the Precise 18350plus out of its package one more time before selling it to see if it was just in my head or if my Stealth really provides more vapor/ power with the exact same set up. How can it be that I get such a harder hit, more vapor etc when both mods running on the same battery (even used the same one I had in my Stealth to "test")? I am so happy the search is over :)

I clean the button assembly apart from the tube body.
You have to send it to COV in case of guarantee, anyway you can ask here if you've troubles with your GG.
To find out the differences between the Precise and the GG you can use a multimeter to measure the voltage at the atomizer connector while pressing the button - because the negative is transported via the body of the pv, the voltage depends on the materials of the pv and how it is made. I bet you'll get more voltage at the GG. ;)
