The biggest cause of overheating/things going boom, though, besides using cheaply made knockoffs, is battery stacking or otherwise doing things with naked lithium ion batteries that they're not designed to do, or that anyone working with naked lithium ions should know not to do (don't use unpaired batteries in pairs, don't charge them unattended, don't overcharge them, don't charge them near anything flammable, etc).

Try not to do things with naked things that they're not designed to do. Gotcha! :D

I assumed that most of the (pre-built) products were relatively idiot-proof, but I just wanted to ensure that I wasn't going to make some stupid mistake that would ruin my equipment.

Thanks again to everyone for helping me clear things up!

Yup. Better than that, if the MVP has a full charge, you can charge your phone from dead to about 80%, and still have about 12 hours of vape time left. Speaking from experience.

OK, You've convinced me. I'm off to get one now!! I can have the phone in my ear with the cord coming over to my mouth. lol

Get yourself one or two of the 510 to ego adapters. I have a Kanger Evod that will not connect on my new MVP2. Put the adapter on and it works fine. Adapter will also save wear on your threads. That evod works fine on all my spinners.

I have a bunch of Joye 510 attys that I drip into for tasting juices and just to drip. I get them at DigitalCiggz.com for $14.95 for 5 pcs. Cheap and I love them.
