The more I read, the more confused I get...

Here's the thing...at least for me...

If you like what you buy the first time around, how likely are you to switch? I bought a kr808 from V4L and I like it a lot. There are probably better units out there, but I don't know the difference, and I like what I have, so why bother? It's like choosing a paint color. You can look at 50 swatches of the same color, and they all have subtle differences. But once you just pick one and paint, you'll like it. You won't sit around thinking about the one you didn't choose.

I chose the kr808 because I wanted something simple and straightforward with as few parts to replace as possible. And it is that. The cartos are super easy to refill, so I can still go hog wild with flavors.

I didn't read this whole thing except the OP.

For ease, simplicity, nice price I suggest. Electronic Cigarettes from Cigeasy - Home of the Easy E-Cigarette

He is GREAT to deal with, will answer any questions and he makes his website geared towards "Newbies" He took the 510 stuff off the site because it "confused" new vapors. IMO, he is the best way to go for someone wanting simple. Similar to Vapor4Life, but cheaper and better IMO.

2 batteries, 1 Passthrough 2 packs of cartomizers and a charger is what I would suggest. Either learn to refill the cartomizers or purchase them as needed when empty. Your choice.

Edit: The Elegant is their version of the eGo.

Puresmoker has a full eGo kit for $49.99. I started with the KR808D1 from a company other than V4L and I quickly learned that there is indeed a difference in the quality. The manual batts at V4L are great and they're an easy supplier to work with.

With that said, I love my eGo, too. It's a very versatile unit and for three bucks or so, you can get a 510 to 808 adapter. This allows you to use 808 cartos, in addition to the 510 cartos, attys, etc. I like LR atties on the eGo, but the LR 510 cartos tend to burn up very quickly. I wouldn't waste your money on them until they perfect the technology.

Personally, I prefer my eGo with a 510 blank Boge carto and a drip tip (Special T). I also still use my V4L KR808, though, mainly because I enjoy having several flavors at hand to choose from. The V4L batts perform quite well.

Probably more info than you needed or wanted, but if you're considering going with a 510, the eGo is your best bet in terms of performance and versatility.

Good luck to ya!
