I think my Reo Grand might qualify for the Guiness Book of World records. I was reading the "excuse or reason thread" for getting another Reo. That thread got me thinking how I have only one lonely Reo and so many other Reonauts have backups and have Reo museums in the making. I dont have any other mods either.

Since I only have one its been used exclusively for all my vaping since January 3, 2011. I use it 24/7. I do vape a lot so I just might have the Grand with the most mileage. Its never needed anything done to it as far as repairs. Its been cleaned 3 or 4 times.

So does anyone else have a higher mileage Grand?

If I do have the highest mileage I just might finally get that Reo Secret Decoder Ring that I've been jonesing for for over a year now. (I like beating dead horses)

I think you might just be right Loren!

It makes me so happy that you have shared with us the story of your Grand and it's place in REO history!

You are correct that most of us have given in to the "I must have a back-up!" theory.

Your determination to prove that the REO can and will provide for all your vaping needs is astounding!

It will be interesting to see just how long your Grand maintains it's record of vaping without need for service!

Well its survived in spite of me. Its been dropped many times, knocked off of tables more than I care to know. Its hit pavement, backtop, concrete, tiles, toes, car floors. On occasion its wandered off and I had to file a missing Reo Report with the police. I was very concerned and almost put flyers on telephone poles but it showed up. It certainly hasnt been babied.

I got my Grand sometime in November of 2010 and it's gone everywhere I have since, along with my original Mini from a couple months earlier. For about the first 6 months I had it, I used my secondary flavor in it, but last summer it took over the workhorse duty as my main vape. It's been used and abused and enjoyed every day, never skipped a beat.

I like my grand and my woodvil too but I seem to gravitate towards my mini's. My mini woodvil, I'm vaping on now (and it's nice with my new HH 386 LR atty!) but my most used Reo is my Green mini- it came with a black door (my black mini came with a silver door- but I switched out door a couple of months ago)..I suppose I've used this green mini pretty much non-stop for 6 months now...it always goes with me to work!! I go through about 2 bottles (6ml) of 18mg juice daily with it. I'd say I've probably gone through at least 1200ml of juice with just that one mini. When I first had it I pressed so hard on the button that I thought I had bent up the firing pin in and it wasn't working very well about a month ago- did a little taking apart and bending back the metal piece and it's working flawlessly again. Although I try to keep my AW IMR batteries in rotation (I share 9 of these between my mini's and a mini my wife has) but they seem to be losing steam lately and may need to buy new batteries soon.
