The mystery leak...

Hi..ever since I installed my SO kit, I've been getting a bit of leaking coming from the top left corner of my delrin insulator.

My brass nipple is at tight as can be, my tube is on with super glue and it doesn't always happen. I do not get any liquid anywhere else, nothing around the bottle o-ring or battery or anything.

I'll just be happily schlicking my door up and down and will notice the leak, wipe it off and I'm good for a bit and then it'll come back...My air hole is facing the opposite direction of my door, so it can't be coming from there.

Any thoughts?

It could be that the 510 gasket is askew or not seated properly, when installing the 510 pin and attaching the firing pin and "nipple" I ensure I apply a little pressure to fully seat the 510 pin to 510 which secures the assembly for leaks and proper torque.

I bet that's it....when I was putting the center pin in a bit, that clear insulator got a little smashed and I was worried about shorts, but so far so good on that.

Should I try and rebuild it again maybe?

You could have a cracked gasket it wont short the little white gasket will stop a short . If you need a couple gaskets pm me your magical email

Thanks Rob, I'm too lazy/paranoid to take it apart and rebuild it. I'll just deal with wiping it off every now and then until I order #2

I hear ya I am a lazy vaper myself I hate to mess with my setup . This is what drove me to build a mod
