I did all that stuff too, worked for a little while, then, zippo!!
Here is how I did a longer lasting fix (lasted a few weeks anyway!!)

You know that little metal ring that makes the contact with the posts?
Well, remove it, and using a very fine grit sandpapper, polish the "contact" side and put it back on. If you can get some contact enhancer, you can brush a little on all the contacts and that works great (again, for a while!!).
Doing all that, (oh, and rotating the posts) made mine work for a few weeks. If you press the button down and get no contact, simply rotate the little black button about a 1/4 turn, then it shoud make contact again.

Of course, I want a PERMENENT fix!!

Hey Tuna, have you used Noalox or Ox-Gard on the contact posts? Send me you addy I will send you some....

You will not get it.

The way this switch is designed you must perform maintenance on it.
End of story.

If you are looking for something that you don't have to clean polish and lube (Noalox) buy something else.

I own all of PS products, and break them all down once a week (regardless).
I enjoy trouble free vaping every day all day.

I appreciate your candor. When you say buy something else, do you mean another mod... or analogs, snuff, etc? Why would the PS products be subject to the clean, lube, polish, etc. if other mods are not?

I have two PS devices that do not work. If the new switch does make them work, will they be subject to this weekly maintenance in your opinion. Is this typical of all mods? Thanks for the help.

Other mods ARE subject to cleaning, polishing, etc.

For example take a look at the GG sub-forum and at this thread in particular about cleaning the GG which is more than twice the price of any PS product:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/77828-very-important.html

People also talk about cleaning their Super T mods.

Those are just two off of the tops of my head.
