Thanks for the link! Having never used a mod before, I'm assuming I'll need to pick up some batteries and a charger as well. Wish i had known about this a month ago

Yes if you order from smoktek you can make a kit with a battery and charger. I recommend getting at least two battery's and chargers. Always good to have back ups.

I agree I spent the same on a blu kit as one vamo. What matters is that your vaping instead of smoking.

Yes I purchased two 18350 batteries and yes as I stated you DO NOT need the magnet. I question the catostrophic concequences as these magnets are made specifically for the 18650 batteries as spacers for that exact purpose and lots of people use them but I just had to make my point! lol. But had that poster bothered to read the rest of the thread it wouldn't have been even needed to be said. And the Stainless version I listed two links for earlier that are the new improved ones as well just go back and look! Good Luck!!

eGo Bamboo APV V2 (Brass Body) [D-B4 APV] - $39.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

So what's the difference between those and this. Besides the price. Is brass that much worse than stainless steel?

eGo Bamboo APV V2 (Stainless Body) [D-B4 APV Stainless] - $43.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

That is stainless steel and still cheaper. But seriously what is the difference? I need to buy one of these because I have an Ego and Ego twist and loved them at first but as I go on the vaping seems weaker but I don't want a warmer vape necessarily just a harder hit with less work.

Boy I really don't know. Havent heard anything about them but they seem pretty Identicle. I would say its a knock off of the smoktek vamo. Just like Ego Twists, there are a lot of EGO TWISTS now but it does NOT mean they are JOYE. And speaking from experience, the cheaper knock offs of the twists are not as good of quality, not as much power as it says etc. Its like buying genuine Koolaid, and the knock off brand. There is a BIG difference in taste. To me, for 10 more bucks basically, I would just get the new Stainless steal V2 Vamo

You really won't need magnets for your 18650's.

Let's try Not to advise Newbies to use magnets in devices. Magnets were not made for this purpose, events can be catastrophic.
There are safety precautions to take when using magnets and batteries an even then under caution, people please read up and do your research before attempting this. It is not advised.

I'm quoting this because it bears repeating. Don't use magnets in your VAMO.

Instead try a better battery spring, HeliX hot spring, if you get the VAMO with a smallish diameter, wimpy spring. I got a Silver Bullet/Omega spring which is similar/identical? to the Helix for my chrome VAMO but alt.smoke is sold out of them. Some VAMOs, including my SS one I got from Health Cabin shipped with a larger diameter sturdier spring which should not need replacing. You need to pull out the base of the Helix spring just a bit so it doesn't fall out of the battery cap when changing batteries. I just added the new spring to mine without bothering to remove the wimpy, skinny spring that came with it.

I found this searching google because i am looking for one too. comes with charger and batteries for $50

cheapest vamo mod vv vw starter kit

nevermind looks like its in china

not bad for $50 but i dunno if i would trust those "special lithum batteries" and i definitely wouldn't stack em
vamo + xtar wp2 + IMR 18650 (for long mode) or efest 18350 (for short mode) = win
then throw a vivi nova or something on top and go to town!

and yes vaporbreak is from china

How do I describe the difference....hmmmm....have a baby swat you in the face, then have yo momma slap you. Nuff said!

"We are sorry to inform you that any protected 18350 or 18650 batteries can not fit the eGo Bamboo."

Is this the same with the Smok branded version?

There is no need to use protected batteries, the Vamo has built-in protection. You do want to use protected batteries in a mechanical pv like the Smok Telescope.

Ugh still waiting on my Vamo to get here from the slow boat from China... starting to wonder if it got lost. It's been a month and a half and I'm getting tired of my eGo-T 1100 now that I have tried out a Vamo

Funny how it takes USPS almost as long to ship as having it shipped from half way around the world by boat!
