Yip, Visions screwed up big time on the first release of the product. Needless to say I am losing faith in their products. However, I will keep giving them the benefit of the doubt as I do believe that they are on the right track with this product line. They seem to have reacted very quickly to the negative reviews about Vivi V1. I hate using cartos with filler, so I have to rely on the Ce2 from Royal Smokers (MicroCig) and the Vision line. I tried the Smoktech DCT, nice idea but filler in the carto.

I will give them credit, the Vision extreme series are pretty good and the Grande is okay. I like the Stone tank but I just can't get past the gurgling issue with these units.

I think the main problem with Vivi V1 is lack of required air flow. They did acknowledge that this was one of the problems in V1 and is supposedly addressed in V2.
I did a test when I first got Vivi V1 where I raised up the coil and mounted it within the holding chamber using the silicon gasket from a Stardust. Couple of problems doing this .... 1) can't fully fill up the tank with liquid and 2) added more resistance to the coil. It did make a significant improvement in TH, vapor and flavour. So, without question the problem with Vivi V1 is airflow.

If we have to start adding non (zero) resistance wire to the nichrome to make these units work it will not be worth the hassle and defeats the purpose. Adding the zero resistance wire means soldering ... RPITA. I guess I will find out Monday if the another $17.00 dropped on the Vivi is worth it.

I only have V2 and V3 of the Stardust Lots of them about 30 from various vendors the only time I had them crack is if you take them appart removing the innards from the tank I think the cracking was mostly with the V1's

I'm still new at this but but thanks to larktdl I went to look at the E1 Clearomizer - ReVive - v2 that made the top of my list hopefully the reviews are unbiased and will have the same luck this seems these are for me. Had real bad luck with the Stone, DCT and Vision Grande.

Rebuildable who wants to sit there and save a few pennies by rebuilding them just finding the right wick that work for you seems like a long quest and until you have the coiling method perfected without messing up does not seem to be worth it unless you have alot of spare time on your hands.

I'm tired of messing with my Stardust every 2nd day trying to get them clean and gunk removed from the coils The E1 or the next gen stardust seems to be it for us normal people with kids and limited time on our hands ;)

Oh yeah the standard drip tip of the E1 pushes it up on to buy list. Glad I found these forums instead of buying eveything out there saves me a few trials and errors.

Now all we need is a coiless fuel injected feader Carto and we are all set !

What is your preference ... a cooler or hotter vape? If cooler a good product for you might be this
GotVapes PHOENiX™ Bottom Coil XL 1.5ml Cartomizer 2.4-2.6ohms [gv-PHOENIX-XL-2.4] - $11.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Check out the VaporChase review for more info.

I use them occassionally and they are okay.

BTW, I have nothing to do with GV and I am not spamming or trolling for them. Just seems that they get new product before the Canadian suppliers do.
The exception is, and the only exception that I am aware of, Vaporus got Vivi V2 before GV did (odd to say the least). I sure hope Vaporus got the final run of Vivi V2.

Thanks, Tom - keep us posted. I never did find out what improvements the V2 have over the V1.

I have to agree with you, Visions have made some great clearo's with the best taste I have ever experienced but the leaking or gurgling has always been the issue - like Chelly says "Leaking like a ....!".

So far, if there was an award for the best new product - The Stardust would likely win. It really solved the gurgling issue with its design. It may produce less vapour, less taste & a tight draw but as a whole it gets the job done with ease & some decent mileage all at an afordable price.

I'm getting tired of punching holes & swapping carto's in a tank. I've got it down to a science but am always looking for something better. I don't mind trying new products - god knows I've tried many. I never have high hopes for new things from China - given the track record and being a strong believer - you get what you pay for. There's not much between a $200 GG Odysessus & a $15 Vivi Nova but cutos to Chelly for finding a mid-range rebuildable with the RA tank from Crack - I hope she has success.

The chinese method of beta testing a product is .... what beta testing? They don't really do any. But I think they are getting the message. Apparently the Vivi V1 was tested by 200+ users prior to general release. 200+ users and they didn't detect the reported problems? I say that they were aware of the problems prior to general release and were working on V2 when V1 was released. According to the Vision web site news articles they worked for on V2 for 19 days and 17 hours per day to get it right. Wow, that is impressive. Maybe true but I doubt it. If they did work on it for 19 days, the time line does not make any sense for Vaporus having the final run of Vivi V2. This means that the product was shipped to, cleared customs and was in the hands of Vaporus within a week. Highly unlikely. If Vaporus does have the final version, I will know next week. Like I already said, they were working on V2 when V1 was released.

Okay, nuff babbling for one night.

We are between a rock and a hard place.

What the heck is a 'RA tank from Crack'?

Poor Chelly, I feel bad for her. Vaping should be painless, she does not seem to have much luck with it. I hope she has success with the RA tank (info please).

I've had my tribulations but I don't think I've had more than the average person. I think I just tend to call a spade a spade more often than others and if I hate or love something, I will just say I hate or love it. I have success with lots of vaping stuff. Boge cartos have done me well since my first try of them. Smokeymizers are excellent for me everytime. I love my lavatubes and haven't had issues with them. The Mini Sub tank from Mom & Pop Vapor shop is amazing and so is the M1A1 tank from Notcigs. EMDCCs have always treated me splendidly. My Ego LCD batt had been ticking for like 5 months with not a hiccup.

I don't think I have as bad of luck as you think, I just try a crapload of stuff and tell it like it is.
