I've been vaping for little over 2 months (give or take) now. I started with a little Ego-T with the "standard" iClear 16, as I'm sure most everyone else did, too. Next, I got the iTaste MVP V2 with the iClear 30 and a Kanger MT3 and have been loving it. Yesterday, my beloved iClear 30 plastic-y tank died on me and now I'm on the hunt for either a replacement (plastic-y resin or glass?) tank or something new to try. I've heard lots of good things on the Protanks with the iTaste... but one of my friends recently acquired an Aspire Nautilus. Besides being big and kind of funny shaped, do any of you guys have any experience with that set up?

I have pro tank 3 with the beauty ring for ego type battery and been very happy with it. Also invested on the about $5 airvalve bottom but did not feel the need to use it. I too tought of the nautilus but went with phiniac carto tank instead just to have 2 different types of tanks to try out. I have never had a problems with the pro tank 3.

I've heard a ton of good things about the Nautilus. Some call it the best clearo on the market. However, I do think that the coils are kind of on the pricey side. If you ever run into a sale on them, stock up! I've been a bit disappointed with dual coil clearos on the whole though. I just don't think they're worth the additional juice and power consumption, and I prefer to use my carto tanks.

There are a LOT of different ways to go depending on your taste and your style. I would recommend a glass tank simply because you don't need to worry about e-liquid cracking or clouding the tank, which can happen with plastic tanks.

I like Protanks, and while they have their detractors, they still have a large following. I will say that I've come to like them more since I started rebuilding coils for them, but that's not for everyone.

As far as factory-spec tanks go, I give the Aspire Nautilus an edge. However, I have seen a few folks talking about bad heads here and there with them, so be warned.

If you like the look of the Kanger Protank and just want a simple upgrade, take a look at the Anyvape Davide BDC tank. It uses the same bottom dual coils as the Aspire BDC tanks which are different - and slightly less expensive than the Nautilus coils - but still provide good performance (IMO).

There are 2 big plusses for the nautilus. They hold a HUGE amount of juice. It almost seems like you can dump an entire juice bottle in. The other is that the airflow is adjustable. For a new vaper this allows you to see how you like your vape, loose and airy or tight. One of the things YOU have to decide for yourself is what kind of a draw do you like? If you read that the xxx has a real airy draw and you prefer a tight draw you know the xxx is not for you. Also you might like different air flow for different moods or juice. You can alter a lit of attys with a drill but you can't make the hole smaller.
