So decided to goof around with some vaping gear and built the chalice III for the first time at 1 ohm. AFC was a little fiddly, but got it dialed in. My worries about draw were unfounded. It draws just fine with thick vapor from that small chamber. Going back and forth using my nuppin and chalice comparing them. Enjoying them both.
What do you prefer?

Tough call. Was hoping not to be put on the spot. I think the chalice has the flavor edge because of chamber size and the vape seems a little thicker/smoother to me. The screws on it seem a little easier to build with, but wish it had holes for the wire to feed through instead of wrapping around the post. The chalice AFC I am not impressed with. It works, but just not well thought out. The Nuppin has a better AFC and is still a reasonably easy build and you can do single or duals and have the proper air flow. I like them both in different ways. I still have more adjustments to try on them. They both do a good job.

Send porcupines after it, they're hard to argue with, painful too.

I can't like this

Were you aware of this at the time?

It's all good, partially my fault. I forgot I loaned it to him at the end of the night. He's trying to quit smoking and the little Ego battery and tank were not cutting it for him. I just panicked when I looked and it wasn't where it normally is.

BTW, cleaning your Reo is actually quite painless, run under hot water, shake off excess and let air dry.

The draw on the chalice II was causing it to be neglected. Even drilled out to ~1.5mm it was still too tight for me. I was tempted to drill it out further, but concern about the threads caused me to leave well enough alone. The Reo mini I purchased came with an RM2 that had not seen any use since purchasing so I decided to give that a try. I read somewhere in this thread that the top cap when screwed on didn't engage the threads up near the air intake so I figured I could get more aggressive with the size of the intake. I took it up to about 2.1mm and the draw is very nice. It's obviously still not as airy as the nuppin (man those things are nice), but I am very happy with it. I'll need to think about what to do with the challice now. I'm tempted to give it another round with the dremel since it's just collecting dust right now. Either that or it will be hitting the classies soon.

Mark's got my mini door almost ready now. When I have it back I'll share a pic of how it all turned out. The mini will very likely be wearing the RM2. ;)

Congratulations Taki!!! Beautiful Sumpin/ Nuppin you have there. Took this photo the other day in your honor. How's that Strawnilla treating you now?

Gotta save this photo to show DH when he grumps that I have too much vape stuff. Now, I would be embarrassed to show all my juice and I haven't even started the DIY yet.

Remind him of the crazy lady you all had lunch with that always carries 4 or 5 mods every time she goes out. That should help some :)

I'm just about ready to pitch my baby and the rm2 out in the yard!!! To start things off, I've craved cigarettes all day long! I don't know...I guess I just want to taste tobacco. So I decided to put Wakonda in the Reo. The taste was off. So I tried dry burning the coils and they look rather funky so I decided to rebuild the coil. 28 gauge, 6 loose wraps on a 2mm screwdriver. That gave me 1.3 ohms..ok I'll take it. Wicked it with rayon, don't like the taste so I wicked it with KGD and now the draw is too tight. Plus, the taste is still not right. Gurus, what am I doing wrong?? This is frustrating!!
