Don't know what gauge wire you use but I find torching lower gauge wire (26 and below) makes it easier to work with.

I agree. That and ceramic tweezers make for nice tight coils. The tweezers also make for fine adjustments once the coils are mounted and dry fired.

True dat. I typically don't torch anything anymore. Just tension wind the heck outta it. But I could see torching making 24 and 22 gauge easier to work with.

Reo arrived yesterday. I had my 13 year old watching for the mailman all day. When I got home at 5 he still had not shown up. 6pm rolls around and I need to go to the grocery store so I cruise through the 'hood looking for the mailman. I find him one street over!! I go back home to "wait" for him. As soon as the poor fella pulls up to my mailbox I accost him to get my precious . It's so stinkin cute. Now. The darn R2 has the worst screws. My tiny screw driver is too big for it so I need to get a tinier one. I got it to work but seriously considered stabbing out my eyes in the process. The real crux of the problem is my ohm meter seems to be out of commission. When I finally got a reading it read "0.06". I put my Stillare on it (knowing it should be at 0.86) and got a reading of 0.25. What the heck is going on?! Poor little Reo is waiting for me to work it out and decide what the first flavor will be. Hopefully I can get it up and running tonight.

Mine did the same thing yesterday. Turns out the post screws had loosened up. Also it was still wet after I'd given it a shower :p

I also think those ohm meters we have for vaping are not the most accurate things ever...

I find the eye glass repair kit screw driver works well, like mistike said, check your post screws to make sure they are snug. What build do you have (gauge, diameter and number of wraps) so we have an idea what the ohms should be close to.

I got an eyeglass Philips head today from a coworker. Yay! As far as the wrap I tried something new...I wrapped around 3mm silica 6 times. 32 gauge. Are you talking about the post screws on the meter itself or on the rda? They are tight on the rda, in fact when I tested the Stillare last night all I did was take it off of the mod and put on the meter. When the coils were built last week it was built at 0.86.

Okay so the Stillare meters out fine? And I was talking about the post screws in the RDA.

I discovered it depends on how snug I put it on the ohm meter. When I got home from work I checked the screws just to be sure they were tight and when the rda is finger tight I get a reading of 0.16. A little looser it ranges all the way up to 1.2.

Sounds like something is wrong with your meter, did you recently buy it? If so I'd try returning it for a replacement.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss... so what's the next one you have your eye one?

YOU are a very bad influence! I may or may not have already considered a white one about 3 minutes ago while I was experiencing what can only be described as vaping bliss. I did hit my zmax + nautilus for a little taste of GCD and it just wasn't as good as usual. I will load that up shortly for a taste test.

No, he's just an excellent enabler. Many of us have more than one, because of what you just experienced. :D

I think I have a case of the new and shinies! I want a reo! But since I no matter how much I read and no matter what videos I watch, I can't seem to be able to figure out dripping OR rebuildables (at least not without much frustration), I doubt one is for me. Enablers of the thread, convince me otherwise please! Do I need to know how to drip to squonk? And how do I tell if atomizers/cartomizers I order online are bottom fed and will work with one. Thanks y'all!
