I sent Joker an email today to check and see if I really sent in my request for verification. I opened up a new PayPal account & got it verified, just for this purpose... I HATE PAYPAL :-x:censored::-x As goofy as I've been the last week or so, I could've just THOUGHT I sent it in. I've been having an MS flare-up and my memory is always more effected than anything else - at least that's as good of an excuse as any... :toast: I guess I could just admit that I'm getting older..... NAW!! Just as soon as I'm "verified", I'll be trolling the classys looking for a REO. I looked at rba's today and just couldn't make up my mind. I built a couple of coils for my piddly little dripper today - I HATE that thing! :nah: It's such a tight build, when my hands & eyes refuse to work together. :glare:, so I was looking for something with a larger platform. I sure think I would like to have a 3D - and I found one today that doesn't have the stupid logo. But, don't think it would work with a REO, at all.... So back to shopping around. :vapor:

Here are some pics of the RM2 deck and Cyclone deck (BF Igo is basically the same style).

RM2. As you can see the posts are pretty far apart considering the size of the deck. For some it makes building easier BUT it does limit your build options. It also has a ceramic deck which is nice in helping to prevent shorts.

Cyclone/Igo. As you can see the posts are pretty close together. Although this is some what compensated with being able to run duels.

What is the diameter of the igo (is it just a modified igo L? I may be able to put a helios topper on it.

Are all the reomizers also 14mm? I've grown quite fond of 20mm.

I don't have a caliper, but the rm2 and igo-s appear to be the same diameter. Dimensions are not listed on the Reo' site.
There are a few Reonauts modding their atty's into bf's. If you head there, I'm sure someone can offer you some help.

I am not the greatest at mounting coils and I had no trouble with the rm2. I have only put one coil on it - the twisted coil Shane so generously sent me. Still going strong and vaping tasty clouds. Love my Reo and rm2. I do get a little bit interested in trying another atty but, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Hello, Reo lovin', Squonkin', Nicoticketers :)
I have 1 little question - How much should a VV Reo set me back?
OK - 2 questions...:confused: Were they more expensive than the regular Reo Grandes?
OK - 3 questions....:confused::confused: About how much were they originally?
OK - No more questions :p (for right now). I've seen a couple sell in the classies and I don't know whether they're a good deal or not. It's like I'm going to a dress sale in my underwear!! Some idea - even if it's just a good guesstimate, please.

I believe the VV Grands were about $190-195 new, but they are not made anymore so I guess that makes them collectable?

:thumb: Gotcha, Thanks loads!

Never owned a VV Grand but one thing to consider is the continued support of the discontinued line. If for instance the VV chip maker went under then I'm not sure how future repairs might be handled. This might be a question better addressed in the Reo sub or with Rob directly.

:ohmy:Aw Oh. I never even thought about that. I am guessing, now, that I might be better off just going ahead, putting on my big-girl panties and buying a regular mini. Hmm, it's something to ponder. Thank you for bringing that up. It's awfully good to have peeps to bounce these things off of.

it was quite the investment.. but it was worth it ;) that being said.. at what ohmage does everyone run his reo ;)

Low, like sub 0.5 low. That being said a lot of peeps seem to be happy around 1 ohm.

In other news the porcupine mod master hinted at AFC rings for the RM2 as well as more bottom feeder atty options in the near future... my wallet is already running :D

When that happens, I'll likely be investing in a reos and rm2 with afc. Truthfully, that's what I've been waiting for.

Just re-read some of your posts, I'd recommend just getting one now if you want one. The RM2 air hole is tiny so even if there was an AFC option you'd still need to dill it out to use it. That being said the brass is super easy to work with and enlarging the air hole can be done by hand if need be.
