Ha, don't let the Reo fool you. It's quite capable of producing some major clouds itself.

For the last week had a debate in my mind about Hammertone, tumbled aluminum,or black wrinkle for it. Any opinions are welcome.

All the finishes would look good with the patina'd door. Are you going with a SL mod too? The Hammertone and tumbled will have a "smoother" texture and be a bit slick when wet/damp. The black wrinkle has some texture to it, so is a bit easier to grip.

You'll probably get another one, or two, so it's more a question of which finish to get first. . . . . .

Yes, I am getting an SL LP for it. If all of them would look good with the door I have been leaning toward black wrinkle for looks and grip. Also, hoping to get a chalice next month the new one is supposed to have AFC. I know the atomic ant AFC is a popular choice. I like single coil and lung hits. You are right once I get the first one I will want more.:)

Don't have a full on Hammer tone yet just a couple of doors ( been eyeballing a copper vein though :?:) and the finish is almost bullet proof.

Love the feel of the wrinkle in the palm of my hand and the TRA gives you the option to polish it out if you so desire. ( the shadowing in the flick isn't doing this one any justice)

Hammer tone is the toughest finish.

Black Wrinkle is the grippiest.

TRA is silky smooth but can take a lot of abuse and still look good.

TRA is also good with stickers if that is something you like.

That really looks great polished out, and would be a durable and easy to fix finish. I could add some ki'i pohaku to it as well. What did you polish yours with? Thanks to everyone for your photos and thoughts.
