Yes it is, early one had the hole to high, current version lowered the hole. The one sent to Dani I drilled a lower hole partially below deck height, so it drains really well.
There is s drain hole, I feel the cyclone has superior drainage compared to the Rm2 because it's centered in the atty.

It feeds through the post hole and also the deck hole but only drains through the deck.

I've only tried the RM2 and RM4 so far. I liked both for the small chambers..I can't comment on draining holes tho.
Not one thing wrong with the RM4..I've used it since I replaced the RM2..It stays..When I can afford another Reo LPG..I'll try the Cyclone.
My 2014 Cyclone BFs drain just as well as my RM2. My pre-2014 Cyclone was a top feeder that Chowderhead modded for BF and he put the hole right at deck height.
I think the Cyclone is super easy to build on with a single coil. I have an ERA as well (which I also had Chowderhead mod to BF) and it's the same way. The only thing you have to be careful about is how big of a rod you use to wrap coils since if it's too large of a diameter, the negative side of the coil will hit the top cap.
Dual coils are a bit more of a pain with the Cyclone since both coils share the same two post holes. The upside is it's super easy to re-wick (I use one piece of KGD that loops around the opposite side and the loop sits on the deck) and coils don't need to be rebuilt often anyway.
First day with his new-to-him Reo and my coworker is loving it so far. He was using PT2 Minis with stock heads and eGos/Twists. He said he can actually taste the juice now. NT and a Reo, just can't beat it.
Just do a dual coil in series...one wire, two coils...eliminates the small post hole issue.

It picks up the juice very well. I had originally built this for experimenting with RXW but for me, the RWX mutes the flavors so for now, I yanked it and have abandoned that project.

That's purdy!!! What year is the Cyclone? The 2014's no longer have the allen keys.
2013 me thinks.....I replaced the screws with hex heads in my 2014's as well. It makes it easy when you happen to have one of these.

What do I use to open my Cyclone post holes up? Dremel bit?
You can certainly do it that way but I prefer to use a good sharp drill bit myself. I then use a smooth diamond tipped bur bit from a set like this to smooth things out if it needs it.

I tend to do things by hand if possible, so a metal drill bit will do it?
Sure, but I would use a good cobalt or even better titanium machinists bit and put it in a pin vise.
My mind wandered off just then. Yes, a metal drill bit will do - but if you drill Stainless steel by hand, expect a tiresome time. It is not like drilling the brass of an RM2.
A dremel might be a better idea.
