My mind wandered off just then. Yes, a metal drill bit will do - but if you drill Stainless steel by hand, expect a tiresome time. It is not like drilling the brass of an RM2.

A dremel might be a better idea.

T

Yeah, it did take me about 15 minutes on the Cyclone compared to the 2 minutes on the Rm2...

I have Big hands there wandering mind...;)

A wee drop of cutting oil my help to speed the process up a bit...;)

Our OBGYN used astroglide to help pop the kids out...he looked up at me when I said "Astroglide?", he said. "Works going in, works great coming out..." ;)

Personally, I'm a mineral oil guy, mainly because I use it on mah sharpening stones...

You can certainly do it that way but I prefer to use a good sharp drill bit myself. I then use a smooth diamond tipped bur bit from a set like this to smooth things out if it needs it.

I am way too cheap to buy those bits. I just use one of the grinding stones that came with the dremel. :D

No, that one's not Smiley's, Dimps. I think she sold hers earlier today and it was a better deal. This black one is a good deal because of the RM2 with it. It's not an LP.

Oh well Ms.Cruzer..I've decided on the metallic blue and topping it with a Cyclone with AFC anyway. All is well in REO'ville.
