My Dark Horse atties came with a drainpipe which i subsequently found out was a drip tip. It's a driptip you can certainly drip thru if you wished and to say it is airy is an understatement.

It is 14mm.

I finally got it twisted with the help of my husband, but I couldn't get a tight enough coil. So frustrating!!

Hi Tasha. So in order to give you some help could you please give us a little more information?

What gauge wire did you twist.
What are you trying to wrap your twisted wire on, to form your coil?
And lastly, what is the internal diameter and ultimate ohm of the coil you want?

We'll get you set up! I know you may be frustrated! I was at first too but you will be able to twist wire and produce coils out of that wire in no time!

It would be really helpful if you could post a pic of your failed coil too if it's still around.

My twisted coils (lazy vaper here), are always a sloppy mess.
Not as tightly twisted or as prettily wrapped as the pics the gentlemen have posted...

And they work just fine...no hot spots, the one in there's been in there for months.
Reads .48 every time I clean it.

I ONLY post pics of the pretty ones!! [emoji6]

After many try's, I finally got it! I ended up with a 0.7 ohm! Is it normal for them to sizzle a bit after I let off the button????

I'm tapping out somewhat sub ohm duals are getting a bit much for me in the late evening early morning so I've got a Cyclone on order with the AFC cap and was just wondering what everyone's go to builds are on it. This will be my first time since ego's and nautili that I'll be running a single coil, I am guessing I'll start out with 28 GA about 1-1.2 ohms but am interested to hear the pros take on building on them. Wicking pics would be great as well especially if they're cotton which is what I'll be using. Thanks in advance!

What's A single coil you speak of?
I only ever run single parallel coils so. Nor do I have a cyclone.
but j did get a bf Derringer from chowder and man this thing is the bees knees. Flavor is outstanding and the vapor production is solid.

Reign, I had a similar experience, but have found it hard to go back that far. I've got a couple of .6 coils running thru a small air intake, similar to what you mentioned, and it helps, just what I was looking for at certain parts of the day. Also, on my Cyclone, but the dibi or hornet do well like this too.

I hate to go back that far but I am having asthma issues that are as bad or worse than when I was smoking. So while I may not like it I don't have much of a choice. I may try some sub single coils but am really looking to cut down on the amount of vapor which I think is the culprit. Am definitely going to try a few different things but waking up in the middle of the night and having to rush for the inhaler is getting old and something that really picked up since I switched from RM4's to the Odins.

Might need to lower the VG levels as a partial solution? Andria D has similar issues I believe.

All I am vaping is 65/35 and 50/50 which I did fine on for the first 3-4 months it just seems to get worse when I went to the Odin/Router drip tip. And I hate to say that cause I love that combo sooo much. In my search to see what's wrong I have to look at what changed recently first ya know? Cause if it's Virus making me do this I'll probably die.

That's my gut feeling it just happens to be the first setup I have had that produces so much vapor even with high PG juice. To test it I have been steadily raising the resistance on my builds to see. Am moving away from my normal .4-.5 back into the .7 is range I started vaping on in the first place.

My plan is to put the higher resistance single on the Woodvil/Cyclone combo for the mornings and evenings and take my metals out with me during th day with the Odins/Routers.
