I really don't see why some people would think they should be able to vape anywhere... its like trying to relive the old days when you could smoke anywhere. vaping produces air pollution due to the smell of the juices so shouldn't be allowed in non smoking areas its just common courtesy. Just because one person likes a flavor doesn't mean everyone is going to like the smell of it some may hate it. The vapor also can linger quite awhile its much more noticeable when sun is shining thru a window. It would be nice to be able to vape anywhere but in this day and age it will never happen and the more people vape in places they shouldn't the faster laws will come out to ban it to the extent of smoking.
I feel the same way.

I hate to sound like an Anti but I understand people not wanting vaping in restaurants or stores or theaters. I don't want to eat my lunch or watch a movie through someone else's cloud, no matter how small or pleasant smelling they think it is. It's obnoxious to think people in a restaurant should have to put up with your Radiator Pluid or Fruit Berry Fog any more than they should put up with the stink of a cigarette. It's not the place for it. Need a hit of your juice that bad then step outside, vape and go back in. It's really pretty easy.

One of the things that will help vapers keep vaping is common courtesy. Don't vape where you shouldn't smoke and people will take so much less notice of it. Yes, there will always be Anti's but we need to do our part to minimize the damage. As Norm MacDonald says "When I smoked, I didn't like second-hand smoke...I like that first-hand smoke because you get to suck it right out of the cigarette, you know? And that second-hand -- any @!#$ing thing that's already been ingested by someone is not as good. You know what I mean? Like a pork sandwich is delicious, but ... a digested pork sandwich? That's @!#$ing ....!

Yep. It's common courtesy really. Don't openly vape where you can't openly smoke. Well, that being said... I stealth vape at movie theaters, Taco Bells, Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, family restaurants, airplanes and ha even court houses :vapor:. Don't show vapor, and hardly anybody is gonna bother you.

That sign's incomplete, should read "no beef" at the bottom.

Oh, don't be fooled. There's actually beef at Taco Bell. Grade D beef. The same grade that's used in canned dog food. I'll have a beefy stuffed burrito with a barf bag, please.

No, we don't want you to be healthier. Don't vape in our "restaurant". Please do sit down and eat Fido's mush.

KTHXBAI!

Yeah over here in Cincinnati Ohio there is no true alternative/competitor to Taco Bell..... That's some crazie ness though. My daughter does tell me she can smell it when I vape in the car but he says it smells good lol.

I vape and I don't want to deal with other peoples vapor in a restaurant. I'm sure some flavors would be non noticeable but something like Pluid would be very noticeable. I don't think most places want to deal with the hassle, which is fair. Also, not wanting it in their restaurant is not condemning it, it's just a business decision.

Actually, it's nice to have the sign on the door I think. Better to advertise their stance than end up arguing with some shift manager about your e-cig. My alternative to taco bell is making my own. Unless I'm drunk but then I'll harass my gf into getting it for me.

See this is where I disagree.
the fight has never really been about safety or anything else, it's visual. Some people just plain don't want to SEE anyone smoking, that's why they are nearly as vile towards vaping. they have been literally trained to hate. Catering to these people is the worst thing you can do. If you think that being tolerant of an over-perfumed anti who claims your vapor is bothering will somehow bridge the divide, you are mistaken. They hate you. Lots of things bug me about other people, but no one made me king and I recognize that fact. Catering to the demands and whining of these people only empower them all the more. Of course, some of it is from misinformation or no information, but that doesn't excuse it. We all know smoking and vaping aren't even related outside the visual effects and the nicotine delivery. And quite frankly, if someone is sitting is a restaurant and start complaining about smelling apples or bluberries, they need to go home and cook for themselves. That's the core of it, there is no valid complaint and I simply don't care if they like it or not.

i agree Funky! i have said it in other posts that MY employer condones vaping. they would rather the place smell like apples, or blueberries or anything other than cigarette smoke. i honestly think that people like that need to read the information on vaping vs smoking. there was one point that our company helped pay for you to quit smoking. but like you said. I don't care either if they like it or not. its our lives not theirs

I can understand fast food joints not being vape friendly. It's usually a small space where people are virtually sitting next to strangers who would probably not be too keen on someone blowing any cloud-like substance their way. Plus most managers probably don't want people hanging around vaping when that space could be filled by people stuffing their holes with tacos.

I'm sorry but that is a very bad attitude about it. People who think like that are the people who will get it banned on us. It really doesn't matter if it harms others or not, its about common courtesy which I guess some people don't care to do. This is the best way to quit smoking IMO and some people just want to ruin it and believe they have the right to vape anywhere. The Chinese slogans saying you can vape anywhere should be ignored. Sure there are no laws about it YET, but keep trying to vape anywhere without consideration for others and we will all have to suffer. There are some places around here that you can't smoke in select outdoors areas, they don't say anything about vaping and really don't care if you do. But you start trying to vape inside and will get it banned outside aswell... that is just one small example of not thinking or caring what other people think can cause.

Even if one persons liquid smells good and the pv produces little vapor there is always another person with terrible liquid and plumes of vapor blanketing an area. You can't just ban certain types of liquid or Pvs so please be intelligent and think before vaping in certain places.

Anyways vape on, vape everywhere and blame yourself for getting it banned everywhere.
