There is a time and place for everything. But as a vaper, I would be irritated as hell if I was eating a taco at taco bell and a plume of vape rolls across my table. That means that visual waste expelled from someone elses mouth is making contact with my food. They may as well spit in my food. If someone is vaping next to me in a restaurant, I would politely tell him/her to please stop and go do that outside. And I will accompany them outside and vape with them as well.

On a side note we do not know if long term vaping is harmful. There have been minimal studies and probably none of them used flavor in them. There are so many flavors ya never know if any of them or the PG / vg over long term use will do anything. With everything but the nic being food grade might make it seem OK but our stomachs are designed allot different than our mouth lungs and nasal passages. Our stomach can handle stomach acids even our throats can't handle it let alone our lungs and mouth. So far all we know is that short term everything seems OK vaping, we are the guinea pigs and will be the proof of the long term effects.

Edit..
I choose to believe that it can't be nearly as bad as smoking but am aware there could be side effects over time.

Have to agree here...never understood why smoking/vaping is tolerated inside restaurants. (here in Japan they wear surgical masks when they're sick but think nothing of walking while smoking, effectively crop dusting everyone behind them with their nastiness)

if someone expelled a plume of vapor right at you, that would very insulting, as i see it.
there is a difference of vaping and insulting about it.
that's like the guy in high school blowing smoke in your face looking for fight.
peoples rights are being stripped away everyday.
stand up for your rights as an american or give up and be silent.

Vaping is a privilege not a right, its fine for you to choose to vape but why force others to aswell. Even if the vapor isn't harmful which you don't know for sure unless you believe what the Chinese websites and boxes say doesn't mean others should have to inhale vapor around them. I still cant believe people vape cinnamon, cinnamon powder is OK to eat but if you inhale it it can scar your lungs (a quick Google will show you if you don't believe it). Cinnamon liquid eats thru plastic but I guess a few more red flags would have to be there to make some people think. It may be fine but we don't know and a little research shows a good reason to avoid taking a chance.

It doesn't have to be directly blown in someone's direction to make it over to them. The point is, there should be a time and place for it, and inside a restaurant is not the right place. And vaping indoors should be done with common sense.

Not because I condone anti-vaping stances by business owners, especially restaurants and fast food places, it is being classified as an analog user. The point for me is being singled out just for that reason, yes when I'm done eating I take it outside well away from most foot traffic to the entrance. Here in Arizona we have a statewide law, 20 Feet from any building entrance is no smoking at all, out of courtesy when I was a smoker I took would go to 40 feet away if possible, still do this when vaping at a restaurant. The fact of the matter is if you give these anti-smoke anything Nazis an inch they'll take a whole mile from you. I don't want to see our rights being impeded upon to make people with such a tight &^^%$ you can stick a piece a coal up their (BLANK) they'll fart a diamond out a second later. I'll conceed the inch, but the moment they start wanting the rest of the mile they are impeding to far on my rights. Freedom is not free, you are only free in this country until you start impeding your holier than thou rights upon another law abiding citizen, by claiming what I am doing is illegal, or a true health hazard to others beside myself. However on topic, like I stated earlier, Taco Bell lost my patronage years ago, this, not because I would vape in the premesis, just a minor reason why I will not go into one of their restaurants, my biggest gripe with them is completely off topic.

what is "del taco?" I am from the NY area. is del taco one of those trendy "authentic" mexican places? we have authentic mexican restraunts here too.... from the outside of most of them, taco bell looks a lot cleaner/safer.

I have no clue what a "Del Taco" is, but trust me... Authentic Mexican restaurants are usually 100 times better than Taco Bell or I imagine any such clones. Despite their humble outward appearance most have awesome food at reasonable prices. The staff will probably also be friendly & guide you on what to order if it's confusing. Give one a shot, you won't regret it.

Del Taco is another Taco Bell similar restaurant closer to the west coast, I think, however they serve your basic Taco Bell fare as well as hamburgers and fries and such so is a mish-mash. They use better ingredients similar to older Taco Bell ingredients used to be. Basically Americanized Mexican "Fast" food. A true authentic Mexican food place, again their are more variants, TexMex, Baja, or Authentic Sanoran Style. Anyway, off topic, sorry to get this off on a tangent of what one restaurant was.

Do you work @ Baylor in Plano? Cause it's right there off of Alliance and Preston.

My job is at Plano Pkwy and Coit. The one at Plano Pkwy and Preston is the one that I have eaten at before but it has been a while since I have ate there. I think that is Alliance that cuts over to Toyota.

Yep right by George Bush. I work @ Coit and 15th. It's funny what a small world we have, especially with vaping!

I think this is one of the fundamental problems - people confusing standing up with being obnoxious about their activities. You have a right to keep and bear arms. No question. But try walking into a crowded mall with a loaded AR15 slung around your back and and see if the SWAT team agrees with your right to bear arms in that mall. Time and place. You can stand up for your rights without having to annoy others with it in places where it doesn't belong. Our rights and freedoms can be kept and expressed without impinging on others. Want to stand up for your rights? Then get active in the political process or give up and be silent.
