OH
I am happy that today is not a work day! Nothing feels quite so good as sleeping in, having an extra cup of coffee in the morning with DH, and time to peruse the forums. It's a beautiful sunny day here, so we'll probably end up heading over to the base *beach* and splashing around in the water for awhile. :) What makes me not-so-happy is the swimsuit that will require!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)

Enjoy! I have to work today, but luckily not on a schedule. So I started by putting my DID together which was a good thing. I'm happy about my DID, see - another happy thing.

Check out my mini-review here...

Hi everyone..... just peeking in........I read about the SNAFU from 2 days ago, and would like to say something. I hope everyone comes back and can move past the nonsense that has been building up, especially in the last month or so. I was very lucky to get on the march list and have kept up with the nation since but I cannot consider myself a zenfidel. Since I got my standard, I have not used any of my other mods and can agree with all the praise heaped upon this device. But, we need to learn perspective..... There was a time before the zenesis, and we survived without it just fine. Don't let your desires get out of hand or make you act in a way that you yourself would be ashamed to see others acting. Don't let the little things that change in life alter the constant attention we all should be paying to Mike for adding the letter Z. Don't let the man who has given you so much enjoyment, above and beyond vaping, to deal with his pressures alone. Show your support for Mike and from this day forth, make yourself a promise that you and us all will show that we uderstand the truest meaning of the concept behind Zen."To live with the Zen Philosophy means to let go of attachment to any material thing. Material things do not define who we are. One day all of those things will get broken, will fade out with time or get lost. We should mind about our happiness because it isn’t derived from the things we own and real happiness is what it does mean. We should also be mindful of the possible consequence of everything we do. We should be aware of the effects of materialism and consumerism and choosing the things we spend our money for"

I was aiming more for positively neutral. As for my enrollment as a zenfidel....I just don't feel it so I can't identify as one. That has no bearing on my feeling that we SHOULD be positive. But positive in the right place and time. This thread is a good start but, HoH needs your positivity, especially right now. Be the change that you wish to see in the world

I know, I know... But it's just gotten too weird over there. I think there are reasons for that, and unless those reasons go away, nothing can really change, no offense to your optimism.

There are people who do really bad things around these products - flipping them, trying to steal their way in (that really got to me), badmouthing other thread members, snitching (OMG, there are PMs sent to Zen about what is said in the thread - wow!)... I think I got to know a few people and I really like them, but obviously some really shady characters are lurking in that crowd.

Now it's just... sad, too sad... The man has to get away from retail and customer interaction, he just can't handle that and he now comes across as a mean, irritable and unfair old man. Once he's just designing and building PVs, I'm sure he'll be back. I hope... Can you even imagine putting together all those PVs and packing them and shipping them? All while the crowds are jostling and yelling and trying to break down the door... It's got to take toll, and unfortunately we are witnesses to the results :(

I just cannot take it, emotionally. It's like watching a plane crash in really really slow motion.

yea.....the sharing of the link I think is the worst of all. despicable comes to mind as a good descripton. I just feel that really...all the people who are taking this so personally and hard are the ones who are most in a position to show their love and care towards Mike. Obviously time is needed for things to cool down, I just don't want to see the whole thing fall to pieces now just because of this boulder. We just have to be more concientious about how we act or might be perceived.

I get that people need to vent, and want everyone to feel free do do so.

that being said, lets just try to keep it light in here in the spirit of this thread. This thread was not just for zenfidels, and I think those who are coming here do not necessarily want to get dragged into that specific situation.

I am happy that I finally have one day off tomorrow :)

I'm happy I have a migraine. Well, I'm not happy I have a migraine, but I do have migraine headaches, and I am happy it's here now because it is part of who I am. General perception is that migraine headache has a strong sex ratio with men almost never suffering from them. That's very inaccurate, it's just underdiagnosed in men; in fact it's underdiagnosed altogether so if you have "sinus headaches", or get bothered by lights and loud sounds when you're tired and have "just a headache", if you get flashing lights or zig-zagging lines in your vision before "just a headache" you have migraine. There are also a bunch of headache-less migraine variants, some so scary people end up taken by helicopter to the hospital and treated for stroke or whatnot.

What the hell am I talking about? Oh, I tend to ramble when I have a migraine, but talking makes it worse.. typing too... Guess I'll just turn in for the night, then...

Good night, everyone!

PS: Ob, I understand and I didn't want to belabor the issue. I won't talk about that anymore. Is it okay to say I miss certain people from over there?

OK... here's one thing that really made me happy - this year I had the chance to see one of my idols, Itzhak Perlman, in Rochester, NY. I love the RPO for having him, and for enabling me to have a seat in the very first row and for everything they do for me in exchange for my insignificant support. I love many violinists, but I connect with Perlman in a special way, I think, and I am truly happy to be alive at the same time he is.

On that note, I am a bit disappointed I never had a chance to catch my absolute favorite violinist alive... But I am happy for recording technology...

So anyway, good night:

Elf. No worries my friend.

I had terrible migraines growing up. It always bugs me when people say they have a migrant but are still out doing stuff.

When I had them they literally made me physically I'll. I could literally hear the blood rushing in my head.

I guess my happy note is that I don't get them any more :)
