I have mad mod love and the 50cal is the king of mods in my humble opinion and the fact that it is hand machined here in Canada makes it worth so much more than asked. I want one of each of the mods that switched makes to be enjoyed both vaping and being drooled over as the envy of my vaping as well as hunting buddies. If I can get it one day sooner it is so worth paying double in my opinion Tho I expect like the rest drooling over this mod I will have to wait for the release and hope to be quick enough to get one. For the record tho I really really need this Mod.
You don't have to pay double, just wait for the commemorative sets that contain all the #1s.
LOL I will defiantly be buying the set but I will be buying the 50 within minutes of release. I think I am more excited for the release to get here than my kids are for Christmas or their birthdays.
As with many vendors, those who are registered for the newsletter, usually get the news quicker than the forum does. The norm is usually a day in advance, it pays to be a registered and regular customer.

Spoke to Andrew Wan today (AW) It seems the Chinese will no longer manufacture the 26mm cell (think 26650, 26500, ect...) Unless they come back on their decision, the 50 cal will be the last of the calibre series, as the 20mm employed a 26mm cell.

Watching your video (very nice BTW!) I kept thinking about all those spent 50 casings I threw over the side back in the day!!! We used to keep the 5" powder casings though, shine them up, put a brass placard on them, and make gifts for departing shipmates. They put a stop to that

My understanding of the whole scenario. Coy A bought Coy B. Looked at Coy B top seller whci BTW we know itb is the 14500, and arbitrarily decided to sheet can the 26mm cell. Now you and I both now the 26mm is in its infancy compared to the other cells, Having said that we know that a year or so ago, all these cells were in diapers. As a business man I have to foresee this kind of sheet and prepare for it.

All 26mm cells is my understanding. I had a B.. of a time acquiring 20 cells today for a project, that included MNKE 26650s.

thanks switched i had a very informative experience. i will say the forums here are informative but actually meeting people in person and actually experiencing it first hand cant compare to anything else. for anyone who is thinking about trying vaping actually going to one of these meets is the best advice i can give. i will be getting a pv at the end of the month. thanks again for the great time and look forward to another meet.
