Congats on the anniversary,Here's my story.

My name's Devin and I've been a pack a day cigarette smoker for the past 16 years.I started smoking cigars and cigarillo's when I was about 15 years old.My infatuation with smoking started when I was just a small child, especially with American smokes(the old style soft packs).I have fond memories of browsing around an old tobbaconist shop near my mothers place of work, and to this day I can still smell it.I've quit cigarettes once before for about six months with NRT patches but they obviously didn't work.Since then, I've tried and failed to quite about five times. In November 2011 I stumbled across the ECF and started soaking in as much info as I could.I took to vaping right away although I did fall of the wagon for a few months after my father had a massive heart attack last year.Im still struggling a little but I'm determined to kick the cig habit once and for all.(those fusion 801 cartos are helping a lot....thanks switcher):toast:

I hear you my good sir, I hear you. Today was an occasion to reminisce and many folks have brought up points that I had forgotten about e.g the smell of a tobacconist, walking in a cigar shop and the best of all is smelling a walk in humidor.

Sorry to hear about your dad I hope he is doing well. The fusions are amazing. If you a ein to dripping, the IO6 will blow your socks off. Perhaps something to keep around when the demon surfaces. Speaking of triggers, the most powerful pone I had was last year after about 2.5 yrs on the wagon. It wasn't about smoking but feeling a pack of cigarettes in my hand, it was so freaking real right down the the sharp edges of a pack of Canadian smokes. The ritual of taking off the cellophane, the smell emitted when we tore the tin foil etc... all this transpired in a flash but that .... seemed so real and powerful. Take care and keep on vaping :)

You sure did :)

I got it working with my 18500 battery with the kick installed...just had to put a little spacer between the top connection....kinda ruins the clean look, but it'll do till I get the flat top batteries we discussed. This is my first foray into dripping and I'm really surprised at the amount of flavor and throat hit this baby produces (I smoked Players filter for 34 years). Thanks again Switcher!!!! JR Custom Turnings fan for life!! :)

Glad you got it going kicked. I only found out about the kick (different thickness) just before the new year, which sucks buffalo balls. One would figure that a quality product like the kick they would all be the same thickness? I will be fine tuning all kicked version in the future with the customers kick. It means breaking the seal but one has to do what one has to do :)

... and the winners are :)

Vise has won the 20mm mod and
Katmandu has won the T2 kit.

Congratz to the winners.

Thanks for sharing your stories and celebrating the day with me.

The correct answer to the Q is/was heat regulation. I did enjoy some fine and entertaining answers however. :)

It goes without saying that an animal's coat is for camouflage to help in disseminating them against their predators. Your first clue was or should have been << wait a minute that was too easy>>

Once again thanks for sharing your experience and congratz to our winners.

Winners!

Hey Fit! LTNS and glad you are still vaping :) How is the young one doing?

Thank you my good sir for your kind words. Will you be attending VapeCan this summer? Wouldn't mind exchanging a few yarns with ya and a beer :)

The SIAM DTs were problematic and to my knowledge they still are, so no I do not intend to bring 'em back in (for the time being).

I saw you were looking for AWs. I will have some in in a couple of weeks but we do stock Efests which are similar and some time better in certain areas. I ran them through the analyzer and they cost less.

Take care my good sir, good hearing from you :):)

Little one just turned 2 in December and is quite the handful, they do grow up so fast.

Yes, it's been a while, a lot has happened since we spoke last! I've been so out of touch with the community and like I said before, I'm glad your projects came to fruition, having someone like yourself supporting the vaping community is a great thing!

So being under a rock for a while, I'm going to try some IO6's and order from you. I was hoping you had the Siam DT's, but now that you've mentioned them being problematic I'll stay clear. I came across your website actually as you did have them before as well as IO6's. I guess I'll start with the Derlin and see if I like the atty first, I'm reluctant to pay $20 for that Io6 sleeve at the moment.

I just picked up some 16340's, but I may try out the Efest's in 18350 size for my VV Reo Grand. The 16340's work in there, but rattle too much. Are the Efest IMR 18350's the same length as the AW IMR's? just seems like the picture you have on your site, the battery doesn't have a nipple? they have the same/similar chemistry with the AW IMR's too?

Didn't know about VapeCan, but it sounds like it's going to be fun, and I'm not far away at all, so ya, that'd be awesome if we met up!
