so ive been reading up on all these different version of PVs and its starting to look like the only difference between the 510 and the Tornado (eGo) or the Screwdriver MKII is the battery right? i know the cone thing is different but i read that the cone makes no difference too.

so, if a person isnt having any problems with the battery of their 510 whats the point in buying one of those things?

same atomizer and carts as a 510 then the only thing you gain is the time between changes...

Right...I, like many others were tired of having changing out 510 batteries many many many times a day, gets really tiring that is for sure. I got the eGo because of the battery life and it is sooooooooo worth it! I only need 1 battery a day with this thing. No changing batteries every hour or so, I battery and I'm good to go. Life is so much simpler now and I'm loving it!

i use the mega batteries for the 510 now. one will last me from when i wake up till 6 at night IF im at work and dont vape all day, the second mega battery will last me the rest of the night, i have 2 more standard batteries if needed. but when one mega is dead i put it on the charger and by the time the second mega is dead the first one was charged. i have the PT for when sitting at the computer or on long car trips. (have usb in car)

i was just thinking i would like to try something that would help the cart life, if i dont vape constantly the 510 cars and attys are ok but if im in front of the tv or computer i will vape too fast and it will cause the juice to dry up on the end of the polyfill, if i set the cart down and let it rest it will be fine in a few min. ( i sorta fixed this with a mod)

but anyway. im looking for something that will allow me to vape longer between top offs or refills AND not be soooo picky. the attys of the 510 need just the right amount of juice or it will not vape well.. while ive worked it out it is still a pain at times when i want a quick hit and dont want to baby the 510.

dont get me wrong if i do a normal vape it works great but sometimes i want to chain vape.. dont you? lol

get rid of the polyfill..take a look at the cart mod section and take a serious look at the BFD (blue foam dart)..
or you could get an adapter and try cartomizers..
or there are now 510 cartomizers...

EDIT: and yes the cone on the eGo does make a difference..it tightens up the draw (less airy) and prewarms the air in the draw so it will improve some flavors and slightly affect vapor production

I have tried the mods, most of them and even made some of my own, i found that a polyfill mod (my own) works best (for me)

hmm.. i must have misunderstood, i read on V4L that the cartomizers can be refilled but you have to drip a few drops on it ( dont remember how) and let it soak in for a few HOURS, is that correct?

i am interested in this, are there good ones for the 510? any recommendations? i know they will need adaptors or what ever but im ready to try something new.

Cartomizers..you can pop the endcap off and silicone ring and see the filler material..you can refill with a syringe (what I do) or drip onto the filler and shake it like a thermometer or give it a lttle spin and put the ring and mouthpiece on and vape away..
I use the V4L ones with an adapter..
I've seen but have not tried the 510 specific cartomizers over on nhaler..different build but don't need an adapter as they are 510 cartos.
