you took very long drags and hardly any vapor.....

I also heard that there are wicking problems because the base is 10mm thick and the holes for the wick are too small.

It looks nice, but I want more then looks

thanks for the review though, appreciated!!

The super long drags she was taking probably had a lot to do with the resistance of the coil. I've found that low resistance coils are not the way to go on genisis atties. They are built using the same principal as the clearomizers. They still put out a ton of vapor at high resistances because of the airflow design and the proximity of the coil to the mouthpiece, She probably wrapped a low resistance coil where a medium resistance coil would have sufficed. I had similar issues with my Ato-Miser. I was trying to build 1.5 ohm coils, but I soon found out that 2.5 ohm coils gave better flavor and vapor.

Now a note to Jen,
Are you planning on having your husband make a stainless steel window for the Orion like you did for everything else? If so I would love to see some pictures of the finished product.

I haven't been able to get mine to work very well yet. I'm gonna try to get a friend to drill the holes out for me and see if I can track down some better wick.

I have seen them work very well, so I know it's just a matter of tinkering.. which is pretty much the case for all genesis mods.

The Orion is a great mod though! Perfect size IMO. I'm modding mine to have an LED in it.

Have never rebuilt an atomizer before or used these types of mods. I've watched videos and really would like to try a hybrid.

Is Orion the way to go? I am partial to the Orion (depending on cost) as I really like the size. The Zens look amazing too. I'm curious if I'm limited to 3.7v here or what the battery configurations could be. 3rd option, I guess, would be to try the Genesis style atty first to see if it's something for me.

Any suggestions?
