OK so I'm brand new here but after 1 day with my PCC it would be better if it were a little different and I think one of you modders could figure it out no problem.

OK it charges great that's no prob. Not sure if the charged battery gets down by remaining in charger? My light went on then opened and closed the case and it seem to not go back to leaving charge light on(Iguess leaving the light on would be de-charging battery? Upside ddown in charge slot, like some suggest? Well mine dosen't seem to fit perfect upside down, the groves on the correct charge side let it go down more the the led side would.

Here is what it really needs.

To be wider so that a complete 510 all put together can be pulled out and hit. OK we cant make it wider. What about drilling out one of the holes where the carts are stored? Is the charger all the way across the bottom? Is there any room for the whole thing to fit in there so I could just open it take it out and hit it?

If there is no room my other sugggestion and it's much simpler is to attach 2 little round clip to the side of the PCC probly on the right side that would grasp the 510 and hold it to the side. Then you could just pull out of the clips and hit it...

OK any modders out there thinking the same?

I cant find a clip like I want?

It should be like something that is in your car. You know the clips the hold the electrical wires in the right place that go along the frame under the car or along the sides? These clips keep the wires from slipping down? I've seen all different sizes while working on different cars and motorcycles.

Two of these types of clips attached to the side of the PCC would let you carry everything together? Unless you've allready figured out how to drill it out like I mentioned in post 1 above?

Anyone know where to find a clip like this?

Robert's referring to having a space in addition to the battery charge slot that would hold a completely assembled device. That way the case would hold a charging battery, some extra carts, and the in-use PV as well. That way you don't have to carry around the case and an assembled PV separately. I was one of the unfortunates who got suckered into getting a Blu and while I adore my 510, the Blu case is definitely a better layout. It holds one battery being charged, a fully assembled PV, and 5 additional carts. Can't have our cake and eat it too at this point I guess ;)

The 510, fully assembled, is actually about 2 or 3mm longer than the PCC, so without some modifications, it isn't going to fit inside the case. I do, however have an idea for a clip for the outside of the PCC. A size AAA battery is about 2mm wider than the 510. You could mount 2 of these on the side of your PCC after a little mild tweaking.

You would use pliers to crimp the clip to the right diameter for your 510, then use tin snips to cut off all but one of the ends (leave one at the bottom for your PV to rest on).

Nice idea, nicowolf.

At the next modder's convention, there can be a quick draw tourney.

You would beat me in the first round, Mogur:oops:. I have to look things up and research, then I get sidetracked bidding on something I was watching, then the forum goes down, then work interferes with my "real" life on this forum - you get the idea (ADD can be a painful joy sometimes). Most times your info is spot on and quicker than mine.:D
