I found these at CVS in a 3 pack for $4.99. No sanding needed with these, the graphic is a decal that can easily be peeled off. Pic below ... ready for painting in seconds.

I posted this prematurely.. these are too narrow. Can't fit a 901 or a 510.

I did the same mistake.
I bought a pack of three from CVS as they looked identical to the walgreens. But when i got home and took it apart, I also found it is a lot narrower.

But the good news is, the tops fit on the walgreens and doesn't have the interior stopper so it allows the 901 to fit.

But i ended up just shaving the green top with a drill bit and the fit is sweet!!

Let us know it it fits the 510 manual.

I have also found another one for a $1 at our local Dollartree store with just the pull off adhesive label. Clear and fairly nice looking it as the Walgreens original and also fits the 510 manual batteries. Thus making it a "Perfect 510 Case" for only a buck plus tax. :)

(Remember to remove the retaining ring on the top of the main barrel; it just pops off or manual 510's won't fit.)

(I will add an updated post on this with photos later.)

I have tried many of the sanitizer spray containers from many different locations for just this purpose. I have tried to make them accessible to many, but I haven't tried them all, so if you feel you have a find please share it here. :)

The least expensive so far:
(Unfortunately they are unsuitable for a 510 because of length.)

Wal-mart = .78 each including tax. (Clear, removable adhesive label)

These are however suitable and great for the smaller e-cigs; I carry a DSE084 (84mm) in one with a bit of foam on both ends for shock absorption. :)

Enjoy! :)

The one I got from CVS was in a single pack, and works for my 510 manual. I completely removed the sprayer part, then sanded down the outside threads so that the cap would fit down snugly over them.

Also, Walgreens has something else that looks interesting; spray for insect and ant bites in the same general package as the sanitizer, but the cap has a small loop that could be used to attach a lanyard.

Great find rhoneil! :) They are identical to the Wal-mart ones I found and purchased that didn't fit being too short for a standard manual 510 completely assembled..

I guess they may make different size sanitizers. I'll have to go out and get one of these at 7-11.

What modifications did you have to make?

Thanks! :)

Sorry, I finally figured out why the identical ones, like you said, did not fit your 510. After reviewing your first post I realized that you unscrewed the top after removing the cover and then placed the e-cig in. Mine took a little work. If you look closely, the part that you unscrewed is still on mine making it the same height as the original bottle. This is what I did:
- take off cover
- unscrew bottle "top"
- remove liquid, clean out and dry
- with pliers pull the spray mechanism out of the "top"
- with open scissors scrape the inside around and around until a ring comes out.
- scrape a little more until the internal ring is about the same circumference as the top of the bottle (this way the button does not get caught when taking out)

sounds like a lot but took about 5 minutes if you have the right tools.
the benefit is that you get a really good seal when you close it and it does not accidentally open up.

Another thing I have been doing is taking a drag while its still in there. Especially with flat tips you can easily take the top off, apply a little pressure on your lips (this presses the manual button on the 510) then take a drag. Yes it looks like you are sucking on a highlighter, but you dont have to do this infront of anyone. But then I can just put the cap back on and I'm off. Its easer with a flat tip because I dont have to visually line up the button. When the flat tip is on my lips horizontally i know that the button is either on the top or the bottom. I can just tilt the case up or down (depending on the button position) and take a drag.
Also I have learned that with the 510, for me, its more important to hear the gurgling sound of the atomizer than the whistling sound of my drag. When taking a drag with my 501 in the case I can hear it a little better. And if you dont paint it I can see when the LED is on.

Just a thought (or two or more)

It worked!! A complete manual battery 510 fits with ease. Great modification rhoneil! :)

(It should be noted that a complete automatic battery 510 setup is a bit loose top to bottom and may require a bit of foam for a snug fit, lest it comes on quite easily when shaken. Or twist on "top" piece may be further sanded for a tighter fit.) ;)

That is 2 complete cases for the 510 for about $1.50 :)

(2 pack found at Walmart $1.49 + Tx )

Now... that little spring that's left over from the sanitizer pump disassembely... I feel a PTB cart mod coming on! ;)

haha I found a lot of things when pulling the mechanism apart. Straw for straw mod, spring for spring mod, little ball for god knows what (found when cutting the bottom of the mechanism open.)

"A little loose": what i did was drop a cart condom in the bottom... DONE. fits snug, no rattling up and down, just a little rattling side to side.

Why cant I find these.....lol you should see me in the store asking for the spray sanitizer today the girl actually gave me a lecture on how much a % should be in it for being effective. I was like I don't care about the sanitizer I just need a case for my ecig lol. But the ones they showed me were nothing like these ones....Off to another store to look some more.
